Silverton police shooting of Irish citizen drawing int'l scrutiny

The family of an Irish citizen shot by a policeman here viewed the body Thursday and say they believe he was shot multiple times.

Take a look! there is an uproar, of ignorant accusations where the facts are not yet known. Typical USA has the most freedom, where people are allowed to make personal choices. commit a crime. I am wondering how an officer killing an unarmed person (currently the kid from Ireland) can be forgiven by a court? Are police required to use their gun for someone obviously mentally deranged and kill them? Are police not allowed to use non-killing methods to subdue someone charging them? I am waiting for a reply as it seems to me that killing a 20 year old young man for charging a full grown, large policeman is murder.
