The tea party theocrats who currently run the state have no regard for either the federal OR the state constitution.
All they care about is God, guns, and oil, and not necessarily in that order- an early 90s democrat pundit's quip on the Texas GOP.

One would think a more insightful post could be made.

This may very well be unconstitutional according to the Indiana Constitution:

Section 6. No state money for religious institutions

Section 6. No money shall be drawn from the treasury, for the benefit of any religious or theological institution.

The concept behind vouchers is competition, not religion. Our school systems in Indiana are both good and bad depending where you live. We need to fix the bad and just throwing more money at the problem has not helped historically.
