Corrections officers fired after prisoner abuse probe

Two Marion County corrections officers were fired today after an investigation into allegations of prisoner abuse.

I NEED HELP FILING AGAINST CORRECTION OFFICERS AT THE MARION COUNTY JAIL. i WAS BEATEN DAY AFTER DAY TIED TO A JAIR AND MASED IN MY MOUTH ,EARS, AND THEN THEY HELD MY HEAD BACK AND PULLED MY EYES OPEN THEN MASED. I was left burning. I was tazored over and over again while being strapted to a chair until I had second degree burns. Plus I was hospitalized for being tazored in the chest it messed up my pace maker. There is so much more I need to say. Can you help me.

Folks some more SC*M in Law Enforcement. Central Florida is loaded with bad cops. My neighbor OPD Officer David Hayward got together with his crooked cop buddies and put together a Domestic Violence to our home in Dr. Phillips. Folks 8 cops plus showed up at our home for 4 hours. Cops even came back to our home 3 times after this? This was scare tactics because cops wanted my wife and I to shut our mouth about Hayward who is a crooked cops along with others.. While we had complaints files 3 Orange County Deputies attacked us at WALT DISNEY WORLD.. Disney claims they could not find any surveillance video's to show what happen?? LIARS!! Folks Corruption runs wide and deep in FLORIDA!! Central Florida is the worst area thanks to companies Like WALT DISNEY WORLD !! Look who the Sheriff is.. Oh folks Internal Affairs at both Police Department promote crime by filing false police reports and memo's.. Call Officer Mike Favorit and Jose Velez at OPD Internal Affairs and ask them if they know of any crooked cops?? Folks to show you how crooked cops are they tried to make me look like a wife beater,murderer,violent person and more. The real criminals are the cops folks.. Lets hope the Feds clean house in Florida..

too bad a few give the good a bad name. Its a hard job and to become one you have to go away to school for 6 weeks and pass many many tests. its not easy to become a correctional officer. There are a lot of dangers because of severe shortages in staffing because of budgets. I am the proud wife of a correctional officer that just happens to be a really good guy. The prisioners where he works respects him. He had been hurt in breaking up a fight. The good ones deserve our respect.

The only help you.ll ever get is is if you can find a lawyer that s got balls. I got a ticket from a n under cover cop , that was in a wrong lane,,in bacl of a truck so I couldn,t see him, he was in a turn lane , I was exiting right , he came from behind the truck and almost got hit., he didn,t even have enough guts to pull me over hisself , he called a friend to do it. Hah!!! try to press charges, thats a joke. as you well know.Sorry I see no sense in going after any one with athority here or any where else in this county.

Anyone know a complaint number where I can press charges against a correction officer in new york?

i feel u. my son who has bi polar disorder was in the walker county jail and was beaten to the point of a broken arm by jail staff correction officers and wa not given the proper medical treatment until a few days later when they all of a sudden decided to go on and ship him to jackson, ga. where he had to have pins placed in his arm. trust me i am going to fight this kind of treatment...not only for my son, but for all of the injustice that goes on in all correctional facilities. by the way, this is located in nw georgia. i may be behind the scenes, but rest assured I'M ON IT!!! I WON'T REST UNTIL JUSTICE AND REFORM IS BROUGHT te TO THE OPEN PUBLIC. by the way contact your state representatives and lets demand that our 5th ammendment rights are protected.

I need to find a way to complain about the treatment that these so-called corrections officers give to us. I went to jail the night before last and the cop was a complete jerk. I jusst had been in an accident and I am completely legal(i.e.got insurance,valid liscense,ect.); but he swore that I was intoxicated and took me to jail. Upon arriving to jail; they slammed my face up against the cold concrete wall twice, grabbed me, threw me on the ground and called me every disgraceful name possible. I felt as if I were being raped. I have about 8 different bruises on my body. And as I was pushed into the door of the cell I was going to be in with the other girls; the CO told the girls to make sure they whoop my ass real good. Of course, the girls told me and we all got along just fine. But no officer should ever do that.I want justice. Oh, and when I left the next day, they conviently did not give me at least half of my shit back.
