[RATEMDS IS A SCAM]

Dr.s beware of this website. They only allow bad reviews without any valiity and this site is harmful to a Physicians reputation.
The only exception is they allow anonymous persons to use bogus names to post positive reviews for themselves or their physician spouses.
If you are a badseed Dr, the spouse or he/she will write a five star review for themselves and persons should not be reliant on it's content.
I suggest any MD following this have the sites founder and co founders held lible.
I have been banned twice on their site for writing comments supporting physicians. Once I do, well I am deleted and my IP address Blocked.
Does this sound like an unbias site?
I believe they also have staff moderators who support this as we all know "BAD NEWS SELLS"!
They also have another site ratemyprofessor.com
So if Johnny gets an "F", there he can cry that oh my Profesor picked on me, forget the fact Johnny might just be a dumbass and deserved an F. Colleges too should beware.

There is gray area that borders what is "freedom of speech" and what is a misdemenor felony (varies from state to state).
It's too bad because anyone can say anything including slander and harm ones reputation and basically get away with it, unless that line has been crossed.
It's ok to speak out on public opinions. Just like I opened up this discussion, my point is to get the public involved and make others aware of sites such as that!
If you follow RateMds.com you will find the same people always involved in discussions. It helps to keep the crap going. It's all being done by inside moderators to keep the ratings up!

MicOnTheNorthShore is M.I.A, and he supposidly is one of their moderators?

I think I made him run scared when I reported him to a Canadian Politician that he might be one of the same persons on another Topix forum using the name "Benjamin King"> Mr. King claims to be a political advisor / politician who is going to give "Chris Charlton" a run for her money.
I contacted her web site and provided both web sites including "RateMDs" and suddenly Mic disappeared and now they are chatting about Mic is Missing. Well No wonder, Mic is an imposter just like the others who make trouble abd prey on the vulnerable.

I do not believe it is coincidence he disappeared.

The user names are almost always the same, I have created 5 pseudo names, been banned 3 times and IP address blocked, They have not figured it out that I can create a user name with my IPhone, or go to a Starbucks or library. So I am now secretly following the comments and ratings (which the ratings on Ratemds.com are absurd).
It is nothing but a chat room for a bunch of losers who are keeping the flow to prove the site is credible.
They are doing nothing but harming good persons and their reputation.
Again I will say it, "BAN THEM"! RateMds.com
IS A SCAM full of bogus crap and exploits and ruins good physicians. Ban the other sites as well like Ratemyprofessor.com
Another interesting observation is their knowledge of Psychotropic Meds and Pain Killers! The team at RateMds.com seem well versed in both which DRUG SEEKERS and MENTAL HEALTH patients (most are in denial) often are!
GaGal, Katherine, Rockygirl, heartthrob, Strawberry Jam, wishandaprayer, abusedemotionally (I rest my case on that one) are just a few who are always posting comments. They are a joke, so Dr's don't just sit back and do nothing, take this site down and those who are part of the RateMds.com staff writers, "Get A Life". I am sure there is a lot we could say about each of you but you hide behind a fake name.

As for your accusation that RateMDs only allows bad ratings, that is truly crap. Most of the ratings on there are positive. The negative ones just get more attention.

One time I even stood up for a certain doctor. I got tired of seeing him get trashed because I KNEW (the same way I KNOW who Walter is) that the so-called testimonials were fake. You do what I did for years and not develop a sixth sense for this sort of thing.

What was the title of the discussion? I have access under a name using my IPhone which they cannot detect.
I have always thought Mic may be Benjamin King. Once I called Mic on it he disappeared and I do not think it is a coincidence.

Shows how stupid some people are, namely me. At first blush, I got the impression the site was nothing more than a gossipy, bashing site. As time went by I realized there was at least one genuine person who was suing a hospital for damages. For some idiotic reason I started to think the site was better than I had thought.

I started receiving emails from a regular warning me that my information might be given out to other posters. I didn't believe it and shut down my private messages. When Mic disappeared, and Mr. King (miraculously) appeared, I realized the poster was right and it was time to get out of Dodge. I guess I'm still a raving lunatic because I wonder if the owner and co-owner know what's happening on that forum?

BTW, what's the story about the bike?

When I said that I realized the poster was right, I meant that said poster, who has been there practically since the site came on line, spoke of a forum that was used more as a gossip site. The poster also mentioned the exclusion of those who some viewed as trolls. These, the poster said, were banned quickly, especially if their views differed from the group. The poster is still there and unbeknown to them, warns new posters of the dangers ahead. Lol, I should have listened!
