Right Cow Pie. They also found an empty steak sauce bottle pointing to Jeffery Dalmer MO but no one mentioned that.

Because they found the body, silly. It's called forensic evidence. I hope the discovery brings the family some peace.

Meaning no disrespect as here again someone has lost a friend or a family member, and my prayers are with you... but... Thats a good question Nevada Guy. How did the father know the guy hung himself??? "Reeves' father, Steve, says Jacob committed suicide by hanging himself in a tree along the cornfield." .... and just now comes with this information? After two years? Sorry but that's just fishy...

it wouldn't have taken two years to find his body or what are now his remains!

This man was probably Gay also, as they end up doing things such as this, when they discover their "Lover Friend" has been seen with another man.
He should have just ignored this situation, and "just jumped on another horse & ride it", since their are so many gay men around anymore.
you really dont believe that your actions have a consequence, do you

only the lowest of the low grind their heel in an innocent stranger's grief

i hope you grow up and reform yourself before you get what's coming to you, that's the kindest thing i can say to you

and prayers to the family of the man who passed away

it is very possible the farmer would know nothing, if the body was a distance from the farm buildings.
the squirrels and groundhogs were probably the only known pederators in that area, that would have known where he was all along.

But - missing for 2 years, they find a skull, and that's all and then automatically know he hung himself in a fencerow tree, which is pretty spectacular in itself. He throws a rope over a limb, climbs up the tree, ties it off, puts a noose around his neck and jumps. Excuse me?

It really makes me sad to see some of the thoughtless comments here. This troubled young man had a life that mattered to many. He had parents, sisters, other family members and friends who loved him deeply. Their grief will only be multiplied when they stumble across these hurtful words, and they inevitably do find them.

No family is ever exempt from tragedy, so please extend to Jacob's family the same respect you would desire should something happen to one of your loved ones. My heartfelt sympathies go out to this young man's family.

This young man had a rough life. And I do know first hand. Jacob and I dated for over a year prior to all this happening. You have no damn clue what was going on. Don't run your mouth about someone being gay!!!! A girl I know also committed suicide last week but she wasn't gay! People go through rough patches in life and just can't get past the demons living in their heads....

Strange thing is that the father mentioned hanging before the bones were sent off. It doesn't make sense. I wonder if he knew and in his grief didn't want to have to tell his family? I am just thankful he can be put to rest and they can have closure. RIP young man.
