I read the paper and you are right....it doesn't mention the SHERIFF. It only says the sheriffs office assisted in the roundup....no mention of Bob. Makes you wonder why Ritt Mortimer put Bobs face on the news.........could it be politics once again?

I don't know how this is going to be resolved. The drug situation is at a crisis everywhere. I just don't think we have any pride or scruples. We all need to work together on this...

What if maybe they help themselves? Like detox and get a job? I don't know why anyone should have to be involved in or finance a bad choice that another person made. It is NOT a disease like cancer, and to say that is just spitting in the face of the people who are terminal right now by no choice of their own and without the option of getting sick for a few days and then being over it. What is living inside of them is oxycodone, and they know how to get off it. They aren't too lost when they're navigating their way through Florida looking for docs and pharmacies!

You should know that most of the cops do the pills or sell the pills themselvethat is common since just because they could afford to go to college and become a cop sheriff or whatever does not mean they are the best people or trust worthy people cause i know a sheriff right now that came from my school and was a jerk and was a drunk and bad pill head so and just to let some of u think about something people who sell pills does not make some one else addicted to pills that person alone who buys them and take them thereselves is old enough to make the right decision and knows right from wrong and it aint like the pill sellers are going aroung saying you have to buy these pills and become a pill head or i will kill you everyone makes there own decision and it is just ssoooo stupid that people say it the pills ellers who cause people to be addicted im sorry but people like that must be extremely dumb cause if theywerent her pill heads would find them some where else and all the money going on the dumb unite program can be used on something more important than that maybe sending the money to an organization or two or fixing the roads or maybe helping people aroung here who needs help!!!whoever says it is the drug dealers fault for people being addicted to pills they need to get a life and maybe some more schooling!!!1

You need to use a period somewhere, dude, that made me dizzy. Drug dealers don't make anyone take drugs, but they make it accessible. Obviously ridding the world of the sellers would stop the users as they would have nowhere to buy. It makes a lot more sense to arrest the dealer than the user, right?

News Flash! Research and watch programs about drug addiction. It is a disease and they compare it to cancer. It may have been their choice, but that's what u call peer pressure. I'm sure when u went to school there was peer pressure. I don't know your age, but maybe you remember when the drug of choice was alcohol or marijuana for the kids growing up in that era. The teenagers now are at very high risk of drug addiction because they don't realize the affects it will have on them. It most certainly is a disease. I have researched enough because I had a family member addicted. Please educate yourself on the subject. You will find out that it is considered a disease and the way they put it is, "It is a disease just like cancer". Don't blame the young kids who did not know what they were getting into. Blame the BIG DRUG DEALERS who are selling it to our children and also blame the doctors who are getting away with it. The same people get arrested over and over....poor kids. They need to go after the big drug dealers like UNITE is doing right now. Bob Jordan knew about Florida 2 - 3 years ago and never did anything about it. And if you read the front page of the newspaper, he never had anything to do with this last investigation. He only helped with the roundup to get his face on channel 7. Read the paper for yourself.

Let me educate YOU. I was addicted to roxys for years and I wasn't diseased; I was high, selfish, and stupid. I quit cold turkey and yes, I was sick, but I certainly didn't die and turned my life around because I CHOSE to. If you have enough sense and guts to quit, you can do it easily. Now, I have cancer. Can I walk away from that? Hell, no. No amount of withdrawal will cure that, and it wasn't a choice I made, like the drugs.

Please until you have experienced one or the other, NEWS FLASH, you are frankly ignorant. If you want to appear intelligent and condescending, you picked the wrong poster because I have traveled both those paths and it is illness that makes me sick; it was drugs that made me high and not want to quit.

There is a huge difference and you don't have a clue.
