A woman can't even reprimand her own child without being confronted by overzealous police. What they did was wrong! Now they claiming she was high on bath salts...how can they make that accusation they aint doctors? They didnt take no blood tests before they used excessive force and killed her! The police are supposed to protect and serve not act like jack booted thugs and kill people. Shame on you. Shame. Word

That women shouldn't have been beating her 3 year old and resisting arrest. To people that think that the police were wrong to tease her; any other person that resisted arrest would get peper sprayed and teaced if they kept resisting. She shouldnt have been using bath salts in th first place.

A parent has every right to correct they children without other people getting involved. Its called minding your own business.

And then when she tells the police she was correcting her child they dont believe her so she got mad. I understand her point they should've stayed out of it and went back to Donutland. But even if you right, the police will beat you down these days. She's lucky one of them did'nt bust a cap in her! Word

As a matter of fact I am from munnsville I know this family. Pam was in fact high on bath salts this was not even the for pr even second occasion the police have been. called to her apartment because of het being high on bath salts. This Is the second incident that I know of where she was high on bath salts and endangering her child so actually the police we're completely in the right. They were protecting the life of the innocent child and dog. She absolutely deserves what she got. No monster like that should be allowed to have children.

Well I'll at least give you a "C" for effort but, your story is based on fiction and you are entitled to your opinion.

The police overreacted and killed her for correcting her child. Shame. Shame. Word

Leon. You are a genius. Correcting children is a serious business. Step 1- Take a bunch of drugs, 2) Strip off all your clothes 3) Choke the pitbull to show the 3 yr old you mean business, 4) punch your 3 yr old to soften him up, 5) threaten the neighborhood kids to keep them in line too, 6) fall down the stairs a few times to show that you are not subject to the physical laws of gravitty, 7) ignore the police to show that you are not subject to the legal laws of NYS, 8) growl to show you mean business, 9) bite the face off of others as a last resort to indicate to others to RESPECT MY AUTHORITAY, 10) die, to show your child that life is a circle, like the Lion King. The end. Now let's have some milk and cookies.

Thank you for agreeing with me. See, unlike the other posters, you get it. They should've left that poor woman alone...the struggles she must have had to endure. I feel for her. Word

First of all, choking a child is not right in any way. Secondly, I cannot even take this post seriously when you use a word like 'aint'. Hate to break it to you, but your grammar stinks.'didnt take no blood tests'. Do you realize that does not make sense to an educated person? Besides your horrific grammar and punctuation, you should realize that the police were protecting and serving. When mase didn't work, tazing her was the next best step. Who knows what she could've done? As an educated person who has studied the subject of substance abuse, I can tell you that she must have been high on something. My next thought is wonder about you. Are you making a stink over this to justify a habit that you have as well? Perhaps the shame is on you?

Leon45Jones....you're right that a parent should be abel to "correct" their child's actions but no decent parent corrects by punching a three-year old in the face!

Leon45Jones, you're right that a parent should be able to correct a child's behavior but what decent parent does that by punching a 3-year old in the face??!! Get a grip!

Is this the twilight zone? I have family in Munnsville and I shutter to think if one of my family members, who often go to the convenience store in front of which this all unfolded, had gotten caught up in the crossfire of this woman’s naked, drug-induced tirade in the street. She could have easily killed an innocent bystander in that state of mind - she tried killing her own son and a dog for Pete sake! Lest we forget the homeless guy in Miami who had 50% of his face CHEWED off by someone HIGH ON BATHSALTS!

For this to have evolved into a child discipline debate is incomprehensible.
