Why didn't they go console her when she went back into the bar? Of course, to see if she was okay!
Why did they tell the bouncer not to let her leave?
Bouncers are not babysitters and her friends and husband damn well know this. You can bet that tid bit was also a LIE.

I've considered this as a plausible theory but then one has to wonder wouldn't S have heard a semi? Saw the headlights from behind her?! Also semis can't necessarily go very fast through there can they? I'm dismayed the trailer park didn't have a camera out front. But in sure Old Stone does.
Old Stone has no cameras and they close at 10pm and are closed on Sundays. The owner really wished he did have one though. The building was built in the 30's and that's one thing they never did was get outside cameras...only inside ones.

The discussion here might seem overdone to some...but the lack of public discussion from the macomb sheriffs is baffling. In other cases they would ask for the publics help and show what happened exactly. They've shown nothing really. There's no reason to "keep cards close to the vest" in a case like this. What would make someone nervous to the point of fessing up is feeling the walls closing in as evidence and info is shared. My two cents: The stretch of road would be one that a romeo area person would use at that late hour to get home. Anyone living much more north would most likely have taken 26 mile to the 53 Freeway. Just stating the 'most likely' road users at that hour. With all the cameras today its suprising we haven't seen images of a vehicle(s) to help identify. Cameras from the intersection at 26 and van Dyke and all the way up should've been looked at. Maybe they were...they haven't said. If ANY camera was working..there's a good chance that footage of the guilty vehicle exists. At that hour it's not hundreds of cars to wonder about...it's probably a dozen at best in a 5-10 minute stretch of time at 1am. There appears to be a traffic cam at 28 and Van Dyke just north of where she was found.
Why no info released? Hoping it all goes away? Waiting for a break? I would think the only way someone gets uncomfortable and breaks would be if nosey people keep poking around. I do not think going with ONLY the stranger long gone senerio is the right way to solve this one. Good cops know this too.

The Old Stone doesn't. We go there every week and asked about it. I also doubt it was a semi, I'd lean toward a F350 with the fender mirrors or a similar type rig. Which begs another question...why would she walk WITH traffic? Why not take the bike trail across the street? I don't think it's less safe than walking the shoulder, but who knows her state of mind.

Read in last thread someone reported she went to top of steps but not into bar. Who knew that? Where was bouncer located? Who leaves a crying woman alone in that condition? Was everyone fighting with her that night?

Why has NO designated driver come forward? Covering ass? Doubt you're going to jail for slacking, just trying to figure out why S ended up walking on the side of Van Dyke.

I think you really have hit on some great points we have all pressed at one time or another. The lack of communication from LE is baffling. The lack of evidence is baffling. Surely video feed which shows which way Sandra went and which way Vern went would also show the roadway traffic. Also stellar point about whomever hitting her living between the spot she was hit and the most convenient freeway exit road. And that would be what? 30 mile road?

I am starting to come to the conclusion that most had already left and what we are left with is a scenario where Amanda and chief or possibly not chief and Vern and S were the last members standing by that point. This is based on claims by CYA friend as well as my mutual mole.
Amanda stated she was still there and had she realized Sandra did not have a ride she would have given her one. The question is who drove Vern and Sandra to Santinos, I would think that person would check to make sure they had a ride back home.

With the knowledge they are not admissible it goes without saying it would at least put many rumors, innuendo and speculation to rest. Vern offer to do a poly. Releases the results.
He wouldn't even answer what they were arguing about. He is not taking a POLY. If he is smart, he has a lawyer and image consultant. Wonder who is banking that expense?

Exactly! We've all been wondering that from the start.
Problem is from what we can gather so far everyone was arguing with her. So I guess they just didn't bother :( So Sad....
Did anyone ask who was watching their children? Did that person ever get any phone calls from either Sandra or Vern during any of that time they were there or any explaination on why he came home without her and where she is?

Darn. Well as someone said there is a camera at the light at 28. What about that?

This whole story stinks to high heaven, something fishy going on here. Somebody knows something that happened to Sandra Lee that night besides the person who struck her with their vehicle.

It's a good question why she put herself in jeopardy. It's one I've asked and asked. At first I suspected she was deliriously intoxicated but after some info to the contrary I don't know. The claim she had only one vodka can't be true though as we can see in pics from the night she has a beer in hand at the start of the night.

Someone who lives further north and was drinking and didnt live east of van dyke would take back roads. Seems the person who drove north on old van dyke that route needed to take VD head east

Oh yes that's right. It was established Amanda left after Sandra hit the road on foot. I don't buy she didn't know Sandra left on foot as my informer tells me there was an altercation between Amanda and S in the parking lot and A wanted S to get in her car and S refused.

Anyone know? Everyone knows the rule: You give someone a ride, you don't leave without them. You make sure they are covered.

Thought it was stated that there were still friends from neighborhood at the bar, if so, they would have had to drive by. Is there a light in that parking lot? Better yet, owner should have invested in a security camera. How many friends drove past her that night?
This is just my opinion ... I do NOT that her body laid there all night?? someone would have seen her earlier than 8am... her lifeless body had to of been somewhere else and brought there after some time :(((
