at the bottom, one link is to "Report Abuse". there's a form to fill out for why you want a post deleted. apparently someone's been very successful at it.

Probably because it is abusive the way some of these people are talking about others..

Sorry I meant to say that a physically abusive past towards women, skating out of child support obligations time and time again, history of jealousy, money problems, lawsuits, swindling, excessive drinking, DUI's which lead to legal problems, etc. ALL factor into WHO V is. Whether anyone likes it or not...no one lived his life or defined his character other than him.
So when a woman winds up murdered, left in the cold rain for over 12 hours with no husband reporting her missing...character is going to be analyzed and stones, no matter how old, are going to be unturned.

It has been scrolling across the bottom of WXYZ and was reported by Vic Faust this morning.
This may get lemons from some posters, but does anyone else find it absolutely appalling that some of Sandy's friends are physicians and lawyers, etc yet that reward was only $2500 and it took her sisters raising fundcs to get it increased?
None of these high falutin people could get more money than this together for the person they claim was "the best friend in the world" or the person they "loved more than life"? Come on. If this doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does. A couple thousand should be nothing to these people...even if they had to take a loan out to get the money, it's a shame this reward isn't at LEAST 10k.
I'm no appraiser but the basement alone of one looks to be around 75k. The reward should be so tantalizing everyone is itching to turn their 80 y/o granny in!!!! Almost makes one wonder if they DON'T want the reward higher. Come on real housewives! Attendance isn't enough for these fundraisers. REALLY open that Coach wallet.

just a Topix question. how is the writer location manipulated? mine correctly shows my home or work location at the time. And I see no opportunity to change it. But some writers say "United States" and some show Ohio or other states despite them saying in their posts that they are in the Romeo area daily.

YOU are not questioning.. You are HARASSING. Her husband was questioned by the appropriate authority's (not some random person as yourself) he was cleared and he is NOT a suspect. So it's not questioning anymore it's harassment- find another angle. Leave him alone. Let the guy morn his wife! Can you put your shoes on his feet for only a moment? He is waking up alone every day, he is use to having his beautiful wife by his side every morning. Not only that but they don't know what happened to her or who did it. On top of that he has people like you harrasing him- pulling skeletons out of his closet and throwing every mistake he has ever made in his face. Please think about that! How much can one man take? It's heartbreaking to think how he must feel.
And if that happened to your mother and your father was COMPLETLY CLEARED by the authority's you would NOT be ok with complete strangers still pointing thier finger a him. You wouldn't be and don't tell me you would.
Please just stop.
Ok take a deep breath. Calm down. I am going to ask you this respectfully and try to answer without emotion. Can you point me to where LE has officially cleared him? An article? A statement? All we have to go by his friends and people claiming to be family. You could be anyone. You know? I'm not trying to be mean or argumentative. But look at this also from the publics side. We are NOT in your shoes which is WHY we might be able to be more objective.

Well said, Vern may not be perfect but he is a good dad and was a good husband, which I have seen first hand. And shame on the people who sit anonymously behind their computers and bash a man they have never met. Instead of helping anyone you have made a hobby out of becoming conspiracy crazed people with hateful words and mean spirited intentions. Not very helpful at all. How many of you "concerned" people have been out to help pass out flyers?

Off Topic- But...

Your location is going to be based off the relay server your running through. Example if I'm on my mobile device every time I restart it runs through a new server somewhere. Sometimes it says I'm in CA and sometimes I'm in OH. Certainly wish I was jet setting all over but that is not the case.

My guess is most posters are posting from mobile devices.

Of course there are ways to manipulate your IP using server relays change the appearance of your location.

It has to do with what kind of device is being used. iPods, iPads and iPhones as well as android and google smart phones have 3G or 4g and depending on where they are topix may or may not be able to pinpoint their location so it gives them a default (Ohio) or random or something close to where the signal is coming from. It really isn't nefarious. People aren't craftily changing their locales to hide their identity.

So if friends and family saying he is not a suspect isn't good enough for you- what would be? Why don't you show me an article saying that he "is" a suspect? I'm not going to waste anymore time on you- you obviously live for drama and wouldn't believe anything anyone told you about this UNLESS it was drama... "a horrible accident" isn't good enough for you- you want drama and you create it.

Family and friends may not be aware right now. That's all. We are on a NEWS discussion board. No one said V or any family or friends even have to read it. It's not being sad on the fb site so why don't you go away and not read it?

Listen...for the record I have never believed that Vern killed his wife BUT with that being said he is NOT a good husband...no good husband makes their wife cry and leaves her alone to be with her tears. Let alone in public having a fight seeing her cry and leaving her there with the attitude I will show you. If I did not come home after the bar closed my spouse would be on the phone trying to track me down...in reality I would have never been left at the bar period. That is not a good, loving and mature relationship no matter what you have witnessed.

I have had friends that are married to monsters who abuse them physically and mentally....observers would say what' a great couple....they had no idea the misery that goes on behind closed doors. I have not one ounce of sympathy for Vern...he lost his wife the night he left her at Santinos, not when she was killed by the hit and run driver.

I'm actually where it says I am. However, you can register for an account with topix and hide or change your location. If it says "United States" it's probably a registered account.

Also, if they are on their mobile phone, it may change, even daily to wherever their phone is pinging from.
