When ask what advice you would give your predecessor Perez replied: "Be open minded, have passion for literacy and to help people."

10 years as the Executive Literacy Programming Board and you have not yet come across the word 'predecessor'? Note to Headlight staff: Unless she's into sorcery, you might want to use 'successor'.

Typical Headlight mistakes. It's like my 12 year old is the editor.

OK, you are right, that said. I would like to say Mrs Perez has done a great job and will be missed. It is going to be tough to replace her, who ever gets the job will have some big shoes to fill. The Deming Literacy center is a very good center and for those who have not been there, go visit and see what is going on and how many people are attending. People at the center are better people for having the opportunity to work with Mrs Perez.

I went to the Deming literacy center and guess what, it is closed. I want to take English classes (ESL). Somebody knows where it moves or new address?
