Kasich open to expanded gambling

Republican John Kasich said last night that, if elected governor, he would not rule out an expansion of gambling in Ohio.

I have little problem with increasing gambling in Ohio. I think there is something to be said for a few casinos throughout the state. One each in the major metro areas seems reasonable. I do object to some of the parties involved in the voting issues on gambling. First I have huge problems with the various gaming companies involvement; they have fought each other at the voting box trying to get their specific company in the best position to benefit. I also object, to any involvement by the churches in this debate. Churches should stick to religion and not matters of public policy, especially when it is up for a vote. If the do get involved, publicly, in the debate on gambling then they should loose their tax exempt status, at once. People of voting age are old enough to decide for themselves if they wish to gamble.

Kasich says he would not rule out expanded gambling in Ohio if elected. Wont it be too late by that term? Its happening now with legislative VLTs and an issue on the ballot. What does he know about gambling, He said Ohioans are going to Kentucky to gamble. Someone tell Kentucky that. I know who Im not voting for next term.
