It's really baffling to me that no family members ever visited to see that these men weren't around. Sad that they would be dumped like trash and their remains disrespected. She's where she belongs and for I long time I hope.

At first I gave this old gal the benefit of doubt-the boyfriend dies, she's needy; so she dumps him in the well. It's obvious his family didn't care so what the heck she probably thought.
THEN-this new news comes to light..her husband dead in 1994 and she dumps him in a hole she digs. This gal is truly a black widow-squish her and be done with it.
I must say she's resourceful and physically strong.

I know she hasn't been tried in a court of law yet, but she just looks terrifying.

I happen to be friends with the daughter of Cody. There was some things that were said behind that people dont know, but she loved her father very much. So did his sons. Extremely disrespectful of some of you to say that no one cared about him.

Reply - The family did care & was trying to locate him, they lived great distances from one another. When you do not know the full story you should not make such comments regarding the family who are victims also; the family is going through enough hell right now without ignorant comments. None of her crimes would have been discovered had the family not gotten the Law investigation started.

Serial killers are not crazy and they very rarely can use the insanity plea since they know that what they did was wrong, at the time they did it, and they they take many steps to avoid discovery and capture. Right now Wal-Mart is selling a two DVD set entitled "America's Serial Killers" and I invite all of you to buy it---it is one of the very few DVDs I have ever gotten from the five dollar section at Wal-Mart that was worth buying! I was amazed to learn that about one third of all serical killers in this country are women. This documentary has interviews with some of the nation's top criminologists and I recommend it highly.

How many people does one have to kill to be considered a "serial killer"?

According to criminologist Steven Eggar the definition is now "two or more." Note that very, very few serial killers stop at two! It may well be that this woman has been doing this for a long time---most serial killers get at least several victims before they get caught and it will be interesting to see if the two men she is now connected with are merely the "tip of the iceberg." The DVD at Wal Mart is well worth the money and one of the special features is a list of America's serial killers that goes back to the 1790's! Somewhere between a quarter and a third of those listed are women! Anybody with "know it all" teenagers in the family needs to get this DVD set as a gift as it will wise them up in a hurry as to "things they shouldn't do and places they should not go to." This is a must buy!

To mommamarrs----Based on what the top serial killer experts explain, at length, in the DVD these people are NOT insane---they know exactly what they are doing and that is why they are so tough for the police to catch. Jack Levin of Northwestern University in Boston, a top expert on these killers, tells why they can't hide behind the insanity defense---and a lot of them try to avoid the death penalty. This DVD set is probably the best I've gotten in recent years and it was on the five dollar rack. I can't recommend it enough so that the public better learns how to protect themselves to the extent possible.

I see lots of new arrivals in Charlottesville, grubby men in the 30's, 40's and 50's who wear back packs and don't like to look people in the eye as they hurry past the Lucky Seven and Community Center in the evening on their way to the woods for beddy bye. I can only wonder how many of these men, so taken for granted by the local white liberals, have criminal backgrounds or interesting hobbies they are even now pursuing. The media conditioned public seems to get more oblivious by the day.

I should have chosen my words better, I was just trying to say the situation was crazy, which I think it's crazy anyone would attempt what she did. Though I' love the name of the DVD set. I watch alot of discovery crime type documentaries and appreciate the ability to be aware of those types of behavoirs, and also to understand what exactly makes them tick. I saw a program that included an recent interview with Charles Manson and it was very strange, but he seemed educated enough to understand what he was saying and yet also like he's retold the same lies to himself over and over that he actually believes it now. I never got to pursuecollege but criminal psychology was my dream.
