Ms. Miller, if you wish to teach this other young woman the most valuable lesson ever taught, then teach her the word of God. With that, it is quite possible that she will grow in so many other areas. For instance, courage, honor, duty, integrity and respect. Posting profaine material in defense of a friend, all while commiting blasphemy, is not a very good reflection on her or those in her family that came before her. In fact, it is a down right disgrace. You call this defending her friend? She has done nothing of the sort. In fact, she has shown no honor toward her friend or her memory. Post Script--Thank you all the same for your gratitude, but I don't need it. My service is a reflection of doing what is needed and right for our Commonwealth at this time. Service above self; and my defense of friends is always with honrable intent and action.

I hope you really are a friendly police officer. Police Officers should behave in a kind and friendly manner. They should be honest, sincere and trustworthy. The police work for the citizens! Go forth Sir and do your job with dignity and honor.

I bid you a good evening.

I have stayed out of this for long enough! I am a relative of Shannon Miller and could not be prouder! Those who come to this site that do not know anybody involved in this sad situation should show honor and respect to not only Kristan, but also to family and friends. Do the strangers on this site actually believe that their words would help any of these young ladies? The family is there for these young ladies! The only thing that a stranger on this site (lecturing friends of Kristan) will do is cause heart ache and pain over the whole situation. I respectfully ask that people please stop with the comments about the surviving friends and family. Comments about "ending up like Kristan" is very rude and the only good it does is give the author their pleasure. We appreciate prayers, encouragement, love and compassion. There will be not a lesson learned from a stranger writing on this site! Please people, let Kristan rest in peace and also let family and friends mourn their loss without anymore aggrevating remarks.

Sincerely,

KG-VA

Hateful and threatening?? Wow... never realized praying you get help for yourself and suggesting you honor a friend's memory constituted a "threat". I guess we all have different opinions. We're all praying for you Shannon. PLEASE GET HELP!

I just lost my best friend and for someome dipshit to ridicule me is out of line....let's all keep officer unfriendly in our prayers..... maybe he'll learn to show some respect for the deceased and stop. Hurting friends and family of the ones who loved her.

Reported to the police? What law did he break? I don't see where he has broken and law in Virginia. You may not like what he says, but I don't see a legal issue.

No laws were broken unless you consider "end up the same way" as a threat. I am not saying that this is the case, but one could read it as such. I am curious as to why Life Term and Officer Friendly are so interested in this forum. I know freedom of speech. The only thing I can think of is because you have nothing better to do. Do either of you know Shannon Miller or Kristan Fox? What is your interest in this situation? Is this what you like to do as a hobby? I am not trying to be rude. I am trying to understand your angle in this situation. I am a U.S. Army Veteran and have very strong Christian beliefs. offering of prayers are wonderful and gratefully received. Little digs like "end up the same way" is not a polite way of offering a prayer. It is a dig, period. Can't we please just let the people involved move on without anymore nonsense? Everybody in this forum should let this go. Do not worry about Shannon Miller! She has a loving family who care for her very much!

Thank God my family isn't as closed-minded or ignorant as officer friendly or life term! He claims or thinks I'm going to end up the same way? That hurts me deep.... esp since your just making assumptions towards my lifestyle choices (which I'm in nursing school and do very well for myself since your so interested in my life). Not only am I mourning the loss of my best friend I'm getting ripped to pieces by two ppl who don't even know me. Please just leave me alone.....you obviously aren't praying bc you've don't nothing but upset me and almost make me break into tears. I don't think you realize how harsh and cruel some of the things you say are but they hurt me deep. Your adding insult to injury. Is that christian-like? I as well as many others know that's not. Either apologize to me and kristan's friends and family or please go find another forum and pick on them. LEAVE MY NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH. Thank you.

I can't believe this discussion forum has gone on this long. People need time to grieve and try to move on with their life. This is not a healthy way to mourn Kristan. Constant back and forth with all of these comments is ridiculous! Go out and do something proactive, try to move on in your life. I'm not saying forget her, because we never will, but this is not what Kristan would want. This is childish.

I don't appreciate you calling me "childish". Maybe it isn't a healthy way to mourn Kristan but when people say rude and inappropriate comments like "I'm gonna end up just like her" it gets me a little fired up. Some of these people are just doing nothing but purposely hurt me. If you don't like the conversation then please don't read it..... its that simple!! Ridiculous? I'm sticking up for Kristan and myself so who are youu to judge? I think its "ridiculous" that u need to put your two cents in. Don't you dare tell me to be proactive and go out and do something. You don't even know me and I work 50 plus hours a week and am in nursing school. I'm moving on with my life but its jerks like you ppl who feel its necessary to hurt ppl who loved kristan and pass judgement. Otherwise I wouldn't be on this anymore!! You and your name calling is very childish and maybe YOUR the one who needs to be proactive and get a hobby!

That's it. I'm done, talking to some of you people is causing me to lose brain cells.

No detectives have contacted me Shannon. It's probably bc I didn't break any laws. You need help with your substance abuse problems. We're all pulling for you.

WOW! When I was told about KC's death, my heart felt so heavy. I could not believe what I was hearing. I was told to look at this site to see the news broadcasting about her death. To my surprise, I am reading all of your comments and feeling even more upset. I have known KC since she was in Kinder. I was one of her sister's best friends growing up. I remember all the good times we girls had and I know that KC had such a bright future. TO KC CHILDHOOD FRIEND- I am sure I know who you are... are lil town has suffered a great loss, nobody will ever know the events that have troubled her life like we do. This time of year is terrible for all of us. To all of you who may not know, Let me give u an insight. KC saw her mother murdered by her step-father and then he killed himself. The man who had raised her since she was in diapers took the lives that she needed the most in her life. This time of year was so hard on her. If she turned to alcohol or drugs at this time, I guess we will never know, and WE SHOULD NEVER JUDGE!! Yes it is wrong if this is true, but if its not and somebody allowed her to die, I wish u would understand how much this effects all of us. Her sister especially. The postings that are left on here should be of great memories or insight on the truth of her death. Nothing else. Those of us who love her and are family, we DON'T want to read all of this garbage. Please repect us and most of all, her memory. GOD BLESS TO ALL OF YOU AND MAY WE ALL FIND PEICE IN THIS TRAGEDY.

To everyone who assumed Kristan was on drugs especially her so called friends in Richmond.
We recieved the toxicology report a month ago
and lo and behold the only drugs found in her
system was one prozac pill and one anxiety pill.
NO alcohol NO marijuana and NO heroin. I just
want to say thank you for all the sympathy cards
that we did NOT receive from one single person in
Virginia, some friends. Her real friends were from
Texas where she was truley loved by family and
friends she grew up with.
