Poor piggies...this made me sad today...they could have tried harder to capture them and relocate them to a piggy sancturary...they made it that far through flood waters at least let them live....ugh. Poor, poor piggies.

well, cutie, there goes my BLT for awhile.First no tomatoes, now no bacon so I guess it is a lettuce sandwich. Nope, grandson says the lettuce is for the little rabbits. I love grilled cheese sandwiches and I guess that is a good thing.

Try getting off those animal-based foods altogether. It's so easy these days. And demand for them is in fact the root of each problem you mention, Congkiller... No pork, don't worry... There are loads of tasty plant-based options all over. Ask your local grocer, if not... One brand: Yves (Hain). Other than that, produce is contaminated these days, thanks to runoff from livestock operations upstream -- every time. This is the 21st century... Eating meat is almost archaic. Get hip. Go veg...:)

I love bacon and BBQ !! Even if I didn't, I would probably eat swine just to piss off Muslim extremists.

I'm confused. First you say that it's so easy to get off animal based foods altogether, then you say that produce is contaminated by runoff from livestock operations. Every time. Which is it? Perhaps we should just eat more vegetarians.

I love vegetables. I grow my own organically. They go so well with bacon.
