Chuck was no moron.

Sometimes someone takes on burdens and ends up realizing that he cannot carry the weight but he is still too selfless to ask for help. Chuck had many friends but he choose to carry his burdens alone and at some point the burdens became too much.

Chuck wouldn't have criticized you for your comments. Please let him rest in the peace he deserves.

That isn't a choice.I would make, or want anyone else to make.
But you could duct-tape your mouth at least until you learn so facts you don't now know about this. Why are you name-calling at a man they haven't buried?

I did not know Mr Jenkins but I hear he was a good man. Obviously he was a troubled man. Surely his employees or co workers saw some signs of depression or something that should have alarmed them. May he rest in peace.

It takes a chicken $hit person to take thier own life. I can not respect that way of thinking. Sorry for his family and this shows he cared nothing about them or he wouldn't have kill his self. He must have really been a troubled person with no vision or respect for others.

What ever was troubling Mr Jenkins I'm sure if he had reached to someone for help, this could have been avoided. Nothing is worth taking your own life over. We will never know what his problems were but I wish he had just talked to someone about it and he would not have a wife without a husband and children without their Dad.

A new law went in effect July 1st in Tennessee that allows local law enforcement to petition to get the names of cyberbullies and those who post online with the intention of causing distress to others.

I called the DA's office today and left a message about your posts on this site regarding Chuck Jenkins. I will follow up tomorrow by dropping off at the courthouse in Kingston copies of your posts.

I hope that you will be the first one in Loudon County prosecuted under this new law. At the very least, your name will be made public.

Mike Lewis, I wonder if Isotek knows you are posting these horrible blogs on company time?

I've known Chuck Jenkins for a very long time. You couldn't ask for a better man. Anyone that knew Chuck knows what a kind, compassionate person he was. He will always be rememered as such.

Sometimes things happen in life that we cannot understand.

I pray his family does not see your horrendous posts. You have no idea what you are talking about. So you should not post anything at all. How very foolish you look.

Rest in peace Chuck Jenkins.

Extreme depression can make a person do things he would not do if he were thinking normally. It also doesn't mean one is weak or "crazy." I read a quote recently that sounds right to me: "Depression doesn't mean you are weak, it often means you have tried to be too strong for too long." Read Van Shaver's tribute to his friend. It that doesn't touch your heart, you don't have one. I'll say a prayer for you...that it will, and that you do.

Unfortunately the new law applies only to threats against an individual or group of individuals and explicit sexual content. We do still have the right to free speech although some common decency should come into play here. Some people just want to get things stirred up for the thrill of controversy amd their 15 minutes of fame. Those people are better left ignored.

You are right on every count. There's no law against passing gas in a crowded elevator, but Tennessee Boy will probably be the person to do it just because he can. Ignore the trolls. Don't feed them. You can' teach them manners, decency, and respect for others if Momma failed to do it.
We also have a few local politicians who have been trying to frighten people, claiming this new law says things it does not really say. Ignore them too.
