Illegals don't care if they bankrupt the state or country.

CA should be allowed to sink in the mess they created.

Whoa! Wait a minute! I thought that illegal aliens were good for the economy!

Whenever I read an article about how good illegal aliens are for the country, it never cites a city nor state in which this is true. Realistically, every state that has become illegal alien friendly is facing bankruptcy...behold California and Nevada to start.

This just shows where our country is going if we don't take care of this immediately!!! Since we, American citizens, are on our own, let's start by boycotting EVERYTHING(!) Mexican. This includes restaurants, including McDonalds and Subway, who have franchises that hire only Mexicans. NEVER pick up one of those guys on the corner of Home Deport, Lowes, etc. We can do it! We have done it before!

We can take back our country. Congress and the pres can't make us patronize these people. If we boycott them on a local level, there is nothing they can do on a national level but listen and be scared of what we will do next.

Mona, please allow me to add to your comments. Since I already boycott Mexican products and have even stopped patronizing my favorite local Taco stand. I would also like to suggest that you call, email or write to this companies as well as your state Congressional Reps. and voice your continued outrage against their policies. Give them hell and let them know what for!! As a member of NumbersUSA and FAIR they publish the names of many of our legislatures and will tell you where they stand on this vexing, toxic issue. I live in So. Cal and get my butt kick in taxes and I'm sick and tired of supporting the illegals and the new la raza members.

Thank you Mona!!

California treasurer warns of IOUs, if no cuts

BERKELEY, Calif.- State Treasurer Bill Lockyer says California could be
forced to issue IOUs as early as April or May if state lawmakers don't cut
state spending soon.

Lockyer, a Democrat, said Saturday that California could run short of cash
as it faces a $25.4 billion deficit through the end of June 2012, including
an $8.2 billion gap in the fiscal year that ends in July.

He says if the Legislature fails to address what he termed a "substantial
shortfall," California will run out of cash to pay the bills.

Gov. Jerry Brown has proposed $12.5 billion in cuts and borrowing, and wants
to ask voters to extend a series of temporary taxes in June.

Brown spokeswoman Elizabeth Ashford said Lockyer's comments underscore the
urgency of Brown's March budget deadline.

Oh boy, get ready for the mother of all bailouts. Also get ready to tell the knuckleheads in Mexifornia to go pizs
in a bucket for all we care. Make no doubt, if bankruptcy and default are declared in Mexifornia the bleeding hearts there will deny responsibility and ask the nation at large to ante up and pay for their mistakes. It's the liberal/progressive approach to solving their faults and mistakes - with our money.
This could get really interesting folks, we are talking about some serious consequences and repercussions if Mexifornia does not contain the impending disaster to within the confines of its own border.
I have a strong feeling that the citizenry will say "Go directly to he*l if the expectation is we have our pockets picked to pay for this nonsense."

Cut the welfare off, food stamps, social services, Hospital services and educational services. These services are there to support Americans in time of need. We as a nation does not owe anyone who has illegally entered our country. Severly fine employers who hire Illegal Aliens. Have the border patrol pick up and deport day workers. The rest will self deport. Drastic times ensue drastic measures.

It's a bit late to be figuring out the illegal drain, isn't it? Duh. Since Californa doesn't seem to care about laws, legality, and a lawful society, its whine now falls on deaf ears. Woulda, coulda, shoulda doesn't get it. LA can wallow in the poverty-stricken product of its own messy, disgusting treason. They seem to like it as long as someone else pays for it. Same old illegal story.

The point is Americans know how to stop this invasion but the politicians refuse to stop it. The politicians evade the laws, aid and abet the Invaders and give them comfort.

This is TREASON, pure and simple.

AND ANOTHER THING PEOPLE, WE SENIOR CITIZENS HAVEN'T HAD A RAISE ON SOCIAL SECURITY SINCE OBAMA WAS ELECTED, YET THE PRICE OF GASOLINE AND GROCERIES KEEP GOING UP, AND AMERICA KEEPS SENDING MONEY TO HELP OTHER COUNTRIES AND ALLOWS ANYONE FROM THOSE COUNTRIES TO COME INTO AMERICA WHILE OUR OWN PEOPLE STRUGGLE AND FIGHT TO KEEP THEIR HOMES, AND LOST THE BATTLE WHICH LEAVES MORE AND MORE HOMELESS AND DYING. I'M ALMOST READY TO MEET MY MAKER, BUT YOU YOUNG PEOPLE ARE LEFT TO BE ABUSED BY THE PEOPLE RUNNING THE CONTRY WE LOVE AND FIGHT FOR.IF WE DONT GET IT STRAIGHTENED OUT SOON I FEAR FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN!

Many americans don't want to work and have been on assistance generation after generation. Undocumented workers work hard to have a future. Our children are citizens and have every right you have.....health care, education, food, housing, etc. The undocumented worker keeps the cost of your houses low. We do jobs americans don't want to do, who will do them ?

I will not be able to respond for a week as I have a large job in Louisiana that needs me.

No, Juan, you are incorrect! Most Americans do and want to work. Being on public assistance is not the goal of your average American, however, it seems that it is for illegal aliens. As soon as they drop their first anchor baby, then off to welfare they go! It seems almost cultural. I guess since you are so use to being a part of the welfare fraud system, you assumed all would want to do it.
Second, the illegal aliens that I know of do both, work the under the table jobs while still receiving welfare. Enjoy you large job in Louisana, your days are numbered.

Question: Since Mexican illegal aliens are so wonderful, hardworking, and industrious, why is Mexico such a hell hole...and you love it? Seems to me, both you and Mehico would benefit from your being there, certainly not here! Adios!

Obama rallies support for $500+ billion Medicare cuts bill

The health care story in 6 parts, at the Obama vacation break:

1. Obama supports the Max Baucus bill (the Senate Finance Committee bill),
the one being constructed by 3 Democrats, two of them Blue Dogs, and 3
Republicans. The one without a public option and with the weakest subsidies
for health insurance purchases by the poor and near poor.

2. Baucus says the final bill will be revenue-positive but hasn't told us
how he's gonna do that. He's released nothing, no details on taxes, fees,
and/or funding cutbacks.

3. Baucus is currently working with his group of six to make the final bill
even more harsh and right-wing. We know that from the following Washington
Post article:

Key Senators Discuss Trimming Health Bill
In a conference call, the three Democratic and three Republican members of
the Senate Finance Committee agreed to redouble their efforts to craft a
less costly alternative to the trillion-dollar initiatives so far put
forward in Congress. They discussed the possibility of also reining in the
scope of their package, the sources said....

"Our discussion included an increased emphasis on affordability and
reducing costs, and our efforts moving forward will reflect that focus,"
[Baucus] said.

No details, of course, were released.

4. Although no details have been released on how increased health care
expenditures in the Baucus bill will be matched by reductions in health care
spending (cost saving other than through rationing being a myth), no-details
Obama rallies the troops today for 'his health care reforms,' "hoping to
clear up what he called 'a lot of confusion.'"

5. Despite no official details, WaPost word is that $500+ billion will be
cut from Medicare. Obama himself, actually, said last week that the plan is
to cut Medicare by $500-600 billion. There has been no pwoggie protest much
less notice of this.

6. Before vacationing today at wealthy people's paradise or wtf, Obama meets
with former Senator Tom Daschle, described by WaPost 'news' as "a consummate
legislative strategist who had been the president's first choice to lead the
administration's drive for health reform." WaPost forgets to mention that
Daschle is employed by Alston & Bird, a D.C. lobbying firm heavily weighted
with health industry clients, and is cofounder of the anti-public-option
Bipartisan Policy Center, which is also awash in health industry influence
and money.

We start writing to our congressmen and senators now and demand that thay do not support any form of bailout for California because they fully support illegal immigration and are doing nothing to target what is costing them millions a year.

Remind them you are a taxpaying citizen who votes.

Remind them that with the economy the way it is and with so many hardworking US citizens by birth or through naturalization who came here legally from all over the world who are now struggling, losing jobs, etc., that we should not be supporting anyone here illegally.

Remind them that if it comes to a vote regarding should the feds bail out California and you vote for it, then they have lost YOUR vote next election.

Tell them that if California wants federal money then they have to target illegals, those who hire illegals and pass laws targeting illegals and prove for six months that they have been seriously addressing the issues and document they have before any money will be considered.(Basically you are not saying no but you are saying you have an issue that you must address and work to resolve seriously before you can get money to helo get you out of the mess). If at any point, CA gets soft again, the money stops, and they have two years to pay back anything given already.
