If Kaiser put that much money and caring into their patients and their families they might give better healthcare.

I need to proof read before hitting the send button. Insert patient in place of patience.
Thanks

Stay off the sidewalks and out of the crosswalks, unless you are walking your damned bike. Don't ride against traffic. Obey the damned laws like a vehicle. Jerks.

Being that Day Laborers get free health care in emergency rooms, preventing injuries could wind up saving money.

This I've got to see!!!

The image of a bunch of "day laborers"
standing on the corner of Ventura & Fallbrook.....

Or lying against the fence at Canoga & Van Owen.....

All wearing bicycle helmets!

To protect their delicate little skulls.

They are fragile, like eggs.

Or incredibly hard, like geodes.

This I've GOT to see!!!!

LOL!!!

I am not a day laborer but I would like a free bike helmet! I do pay taxes and well I think I deserve a f*%%% helmet, along with some accessories for my damn bike. I almost got hit couple days ago by some older gentleman. He also did a illegal turn at the same time. I better stick with just walking now!!!

Why do a see a flood of bicycle lights and helmets at the local pawn shops?

I know not all day laborers are illegals, however, what about the legal minimum wage worker that rides his bike to work because he can't afford gas?

I remember when everyone was riding a bicycle. I used to deliver the Daily News on mine. I would ride it to school with a hundred others.
First they came out with the 10 speed and everyone had to have one. Then they came out with the Stingray and everyone had to have one. Then they came out with the foreign umpteen speeds and everyone had to have one.
Then the adults started to ride them, wearing tights with funny little helmets, there would be 20 or 30 of them on the street with a bunch of cars behind them. These people did not ride in single file, they took up an entire lane. It was very annoying. They were obviously new at this as every kid new cars were something to be feared.
Then they came out with the mountain bike. That was cool, we could ride our bikes down the fire trails to the beach.
Then they came out with a law that said we had to put a phallic looking helmet on our heads.
Then doctors started slamming on the brakes when those people with the tights and funny looking helmets were hogging the road.
Bicycle riding came to a halt.
Now, there are no bicycle racks at schools.
Got it now

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Gemini

You're normally pretty canny, but today you're wearing rose-tinted glasses that prevent you seeing what's really going on. There probably isn't much harm in this if your vision is only temporarily obscured, but you could be heading for financial problems if you persist in taking a very idealistic view of a current situation. Be realistic, especially if someone's health or welfare is involved.
