Does anyone have any input on how to get Long County Sheriff's Office to effectively perform their job as law enforcement officials? From my understanding, pretty much everyone in a leadership position in Ludowici/ Long County is either related, or a great financial contributor (to where??). How can the old ways that have been good for some and horrific for other change? Due to the job performance that I have witnessed, in my opinion, most of the employees at Long County Sheriff's Office would be better off working at that Dairy Queen or Huddle House. There they would not be undermanned, and everyone would still sit around all day getting a pay check for nothing. The point of this is... To make this town a better place, they need to do a BIG change of command... but when will it happen?

Fed Up, grow some balls or something, your repeated attacks on the Sheriff's Office is useless. One if they are undermanned then they are undermanned. You cannot expect them to do more than whats humanly possible. They are like us, cept they deal with the crap that others make. You may be some of that crap thats trying to get to the surface to take a breath. Go back to what every hole you came out of, and disappear!

I can see the employees of Long County spend a lot of time farting around on the Internet. They have also forgotten who they work for, if indeed they ever knew.

*** As for you... That one guy... YOU may think it is never going to happen, and if you read the posting you would understand I was simply trying to get POSITIVE feedback from people who want things to get better... Obviously you are comfortable in the mess that's here... BTW an upstanding citizen would try to find ways to make things better, not advise people to move people to a different county, suck it up, etc. However, YOU can suck it up, that's your choice but there are people who want to make this better. Thanks for the comment...

***As for you... "Luffy"... Grow some balls hahahaha! Apparently you have none, that's why you have negative input! Repeated attacks... hahaha You ignoramus! I make 2 postings and you call it repeated... Are you guilty of something, or are you related to the people I am speaking on? If not... get over it, after all, this is just a forum. BTW Learn how to spell and use proper English before you write a comment... You lack of proper verbiage clearly shows you are THE crap that is trying to get to the surface and take a breath, therefore, YOU are one that needs to crawl into a hole! hahaha You are so funny and ignorant!! Thanks for the laugh!!

"Join the Force?" For free, you mean? Long County is broke and 1) can't afford to hire anyone and 2) wouldn't pay them enough if they did.

Fed Up could not win and election for being a Sugar Plum fairy in a Christmas Parade. Goes for all other criers and such. You all cry and whine. But no ones shows at meetings. The ballots are always very short for local elections. Fed Up you have no clue. You work, well you and me have something in common, but we differ to the fact, my father was told me always respect someone that works, and I do. If you think that law enforcement is so easy, go and take a look.

@ bigjohn1 lmao... since you have such good advice, take it and run yourself... that would be a sight...

@ luffy... You're so right about that! Who the heck would... wtf, who comes up with something as weak as that?(how childish of you to make a remark like that, cornball) C'mon man, be realistic in life... this is where you don't know what the heck you are talking about... I attended every meeting my schedule would permit, along with the other concerned residents of my neighborhood, as well as people that can make a difference (Soldiers, state troopers, etc.) You're the one who apparently thinks its easy with your slick remarks, you take a look and see how they need help (and if you don't have a solution... shut up)! Like I said, since its not directly affecting you, you have no clue. I am glad to hear that you work though... It is absurd to respect someone, just because they work, its all about how they effectively perform their job and how it benefits others. Stop being narrow minded and look at the big picture!

Long County Bred: Sadly, the real estate agents that sold us our houses didn't say "you sure you want to live in such a corrupt pit?" If they had, we would have surely made other choices. And, if the real estate market had not gone into the ditch along with the general appearance of Long County getting worse with time, it would surely be a lot easier for us to sell our houses and get the hell out!

There are only 2 deputies per 12 hr. shift. True, most of them sit around until there is an actual call instead of patrolling. Long County has a large area to cover with a 2 man shift but it could still be patrolled better. However, as long as the mostly good ole boy deputies are allowed to do as they please with little to NO consequences ... nothing will change any time soon !

Pack your shit and leave. If I lived in a place as bad as you say it is, I would take a loss on my property and move on. If you were smart and apparently you are not, you would have done some research before you invested in a new home.

iknowyou probably does not have a mortgage and never will. Either that or he thinks people should take monetary losses on property because law enforcement doesn't want to deal with the criminal element-or maybe he is a criminal--or a cop--or both.

I just happen to have two mortgage's in Long County and even more in Liberty County. I also own three houses with no mortgage because I paid cash for those. I invest in repo houses in the surrounding area not just Long County and Liberty County to re-sell or rent out.

I was just saying if I was that unhappy I would make a change in my life for the better and stop CRYING and Whinning and do something about it.

Like I said in my earlier post, you are stupid to invest in a new home without doing your resaerch first.

Long County Bred made a good point, maybe you should take that advice.

iknowyou, you just admitted that you are a scam artist, a swindler and a cheat. That's probably why you like things how they are and why you defend the corruption present in Long County.

Cyrus, you are a complete moron that needs to seek professional help. I buy and sell realestate to people like you. I don't remember holding a gun to anyone to steal their property or to sell it to brainless people like you.

Where do you live Cyrus? I may make you a offer on your property or give me your asking price.
