Police investigating area doctor

The West Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations is currently investigating a Logan County doctor after a significant amount of drugs were found in his car following a traffic stop and his arrest on unrelated charges.

I live in mingo co. and i go to Dr.McDevitt and am very happy with the med. service he gives me. and I must add that all of his patients "are not" pill heads as some have labeled them. I see and talk to a lot of elderly people that go for heart problems, diabetes ,blood pressure problems and a host of other problems. I think only the ones that he has refused to give drugs to have labeled him as a pill pusher because he refused them narcotics. I think they call it revenge. I personally think he is a very good Doctor.

i hope they strip that asshole of his license and put his ass in jail with all his drug clients...he is nothing but a pill pushing want to be doctor..you pay 150$ and he will give you anything you want, he wont take checks, now what kind of doctor that runs a legitmate business wont accept checks, because he dont want it traced back to his pill pushing self...i know of people that go in there that dont need to be on diet pills but he gives them to them..and he doesnt really write scripts he has them right there in his office. that is another way it cant be traced back to him..i hope he rots in jail for all the lives that he has destroyed and the families that has suffered over his sorry ass...and yes most of his patients are drug users, abuser and seller...

BTW...there are some judges that tell people that appear in their court for drug abuse that if they go to dr mcdevitt that they are in big time trouble, they are banned to go to see him for anything..so even the judges know he is a pill pushing asshole..so the way i look at it, if judges are banning people to go to him and if they do they go straight to jail no if, and or buts about it. then that right there tells you what type of doctor he CLAIMS TO BE...

very nice info....the judges can be sued for that .....btw all diet clinics give out the meds in the office but if you go to the doc for medical reasons the rx's are called in to the pharmacy where the patient gets their meds....so stop trying to ACT like you know it all cause its only showing us what a true A** you are

You my dear are a TRUE IDIOT. This is a KNOWN Dr. in the area for prescibing meds to addicts. So why don't you stay in Mingo County and get yourself a REAL Dr. in your area!!! Why would ANYONE travel SOOOOO far for your meds???? Because your a doper. That's why. So stay in yoour backwoods miss know it all. NOT!!! You must really be addicted to drive to Logan and banned from any Williamsondoctors. OR, your a Dr shopper. So shut the heck up and take a pill, pillhead.

Sounds like you are one of the girls that work in the office. Well you know what your boss is about to find out the truth about you. You know who the fuck you are too. What would possess you to try to find information for someone else, especially when you work for him, and act like you are his right hand. Maybe youve got something going on with this other married person? Your boss is about to find it out too!

Which one of the bitches are considered his right hand man? From what I've seen, he talks to all of them like they're trash. What is someone trying to take from him? From what the news has said he keeps everything in his car, not his office...lol.

Dr. Mcdvevitt has an 'office' in Huntington, where he advertises that the office is for weight loss. I went to the office weighing 165 lbs & am 6 feet tall.There is no way that I should have been given the medication that he gave me b/c I was not overweight. Everyone that goes there gets phentermine (amphetamine,) a fat burner, & water pills. He does not accept insurance, nor does he put your name on the bottles that he gives. He has the drugs in bottles, already counted out & only asks wheteher you want a 1 or 2 month supply ($80 or $150.) Everytime that I went there, there were people that would arrive 30 mminutes prior to the office opening so that they would not have to wait in line (including myself.) He is only at this office twice a week for 4 hours & I can only imagine the amount of money that he makes during the 8 hours a week. If you people want to believe that he is a good Dr, with only the best intentions I can suggest a couple other area Dr's with similar intentions, but I won't.
