Judge stops demolition of Bonner homes
A Livingston County judge has ruled a Brighton city's ordinance is unconstitutional and halted its order to demolish two homes belonging to Leon Bonner.

That judge that ruled on this should be disbarred! How can he overide the law? This is going to cost everyone a lot of money. These abandoned houses with no utilities since the 70's. Looks like a WACO situation. I hope there isn't a mystery fire there.

'Lite Up' has just made themselves a person of interest in any future arson in Brighton. The costs incurred by the city in pursuing these homes rests solely on the city itself.
These houses are in the present state of disrepair by design of the City of Brighton. The city wants these properties for parking spaces. The present owner was doing nothing wrong when the city shut the water off. The town council thought that the owner would just lay down and roll over. Their stubborn position has cost the people of Brighton HUNDREDS of thousands of their dollars. That is a fact.
