Residents fume over fiberoptic lines
Some Brighton Township residents are fuming over plans to clear some mature pine trees to install 22 new utility poles for fiberoptic lines, causing a snag in Livingston County's plan to connect emergency services and schools to one central computer base.

Another no common sense dilemma. Leave Mr. Cobb alone. It's his wishes not to cut the trees down. Find another way information hiway addicts of Livingston county. Geesh!!!!!

Directional boring or plowing in the flexible conduit on the road right of way are the best ways to go if there is no dedicated utility easement. It costs a bit more to put it underground now but it doesn't have to to put back up over and over after storms or heavy ice loads.
