I noticed, with sadness, how the bat population in my hayloft dropped to practically nothing last year. I have only a few again this year. Sure, it is nice not having to deal with the guano every time I have to drop hay and not be dive-bombed when I go up there during their baby season, but all in all, I'd rather have 'em around. I wonder how long before the population recovers?
