Just HAD to get Bush's name in there, somewhere, right? Yes, the entire project is EVIL because the owner/developer has some association with GW. I suppose even the good faithful who attend the same Church as GW must somehow be EVIL too?

For God's sake, leave it alone will ya?

1 cubic foot = 7.48 US gallons so 9 Million Gallons = 1,203,125 Cubic Feet. One Acre = 43,560 Square feet, so 780 acres = 33,976,800 square feet. If we divide the 1,203,125 cubic feet over the 33,976,800 square feet of surface area we find the water would only be 0.0354 Feet Deep which is 0.424" of rain. That amount of water is trivial when rationally considered against the annual rainfall on the watershed. From an engineering and ecological perspective the golf course is an acceptable use. Betts owns it and under our Constitution shouldn't be deprived of his chosen use without just compensation.
