What good is electricity if you can't transport it to power-hungry customers? The SunZia Southwest Transmission Project aims to develop a new regional electrical transmission line -- one 500 kilovolt line or two parallel lines -- for use in Southern New Mexico and Southern Arizona.

Why doesn't the article mention that a Sub-station will be built in Deming and that Columbus Electric is part of Tri-State? That Sub-station is very important to Deming's future electric needs.
