Wow that was a scary morning. I was headed into the middle school friday morning when they told everyone to get out right then. We were quickly put onto a bus and driven over to the bus parking lot. Which at that time the rumors of a bomb threat was only for the high school. So everyone got scared that they where taking us closer to the supposed bomb threat building. But it turned out that there had been one called in for the middle school also. As of corse the Lincoln County School System trys to cover anything and everything up and make it sound smaller then it really was. But this time they didnt mention that they took us back into the building before it was searched by the bomb squad and bomb dogs from Charlotte. Even though they did send staff and teachers to check lockers, class rooms, bathrooms, ect. There could have been one that they over looked. Still it was a dangerous idea for untrained teachers and staff to look for bombs. Meanwhile the people on the buses where scared out of our minds where ripping out cell phones calling there parents to come pick them up. Then after a while when they decided if you were there that you couldnt leave. Not even your parent could check you out. That ticked lots of parents off. Even admistrators where going up to windows of cars with kids inside of them sayin that if you where them you wouldnt let you kids out but still some parents said oh you will be ok go on. I had connections to people who were on the back of that bus with our guilty suspects, even though they werent taking part in the major crime they knew everything that happend. According to them there was 4 calls placed one said "I am reporting a bomb threat at West Lincoln High School" the second one said "I am reporting another threat at West Lincoln Middle School" the third one said "Haha cant find the bomb now can you?" and the forth one I have no idea what it said. Even though I wasnt on the bus for to long about 45mins. to 1 hour. because I left still news travels fast with todays technology. As the 3 boys called in with those threats little did they know that every call made to the schools are automaticly traced. They thought by taking the power off the back of the cell that there call could not be traced. Little did they know that they would get caught and thrown in jail for a major crime they did. When all they where probably doing was making stupid jokes just to tear everybody up. Maybe they and other students will think of that before anybody else does anything stupid that could lead to more crime.

yeah it was stupid, but you know the kids that did this were just tryng to get out of school along with the kids who called their parents to ome get them. and why are kids going to middle school carrying cell phones anyway? who do you need to call thats that important you cant wait until you get home?
