Man dies after trying to outrun police

A Harrodsburg man was killed early Sunday morning after he tried to outrun a Junction City police officer who was responding to a domestic violence call at a Junction City home.

Well if you read the paper and look at pictures of anyone arrested in Junction you would know that if they arrest them they beat the crap out of them. Besides, certain folks in small towns arent always interested in what really happened. Depends on who they are sleeping with at the moment who they listen to and who they beat up then claim the woman did it........hahaha

A police officer has attempted to bring someone into the court system, so that this suspect could have their day in court due to a crime that they (do to a poor decission) were supposed to have committed. That suspect, decided (again a poor decission) to attempt to elude the police officer, who has taken an oath to uphold the law (and would be seen as a coward if he hadn't tried to stop the offender) and that bad decission, in no way made or influenced by the police officer, caused the suspect to loose his life. Now, let us all bash the cop because he did what we wanted him to do, all the way up until the suspect caused his (the suspect's) own demise.

Let the police charge you with what ever they wish, your not guilty unless found in court. If you think the police falsely arrested you or in someway denied your Constitutional Rights, sue them, don't run and don't fight, that just shows your guilt.

God rest the souls of those who have gone, but please Bless and Protect those who try so hard to protect us, even from ourselves!

If everyone kept their noses to their self and worry about their self, the world would be a better place. I am sure each and everyone one of you all have your own plates full with your own problems to take care of instead of being worried about someone else's problems or the lack of a problem. It doesn't matter who is who, it doesn't matter who did what, or where who is supposed to be where. A person lost their life. Pray for the family and friends.

Its sad when someone feels that they need to run from the police. Two people did that in Junction City and they killed themselves. Who suffers is the families that they left behind by their selfish decisions. Prather has nothing to feel bad about. He is a police officer and that is why he is paid, to catch people who are breaking the law, not to just let them go because they want to get away. Those two may still be alive if they showed some maturity. At least I don't have to worry anymore about them running and killing one of our family members.

i just wont to say to the darkheaded woman that was down there that night in green blazer that was sitting at the stop sign.she needs to close here mouth talking to people out there wonting to no what they where looking at its not everyday sameone gets killed in front of your door what did she thank people was to do she shouldnt have been a smart ass. she left kids in the car dark and that man that had the road blocked if that had been my son there seening all that i wood have died my self and she was yalling you wont to no whats going on this 10 year old boys daddy just got killed that whats going on we knew it was bad just from looking but she mad it worse that child should have never had to be there that long and still have to here that from sameone that way way was that child there i watched and the man that let that child go down there he new better.they had the road blocked way didnt she get that child out of there so he didnt have to here all that
