" ... While checking Wednesday on offices to be filled for the 2013 elections, Lewis County Board of Elections officials noticed Judge John J. Youngs, who was appointed to the post in January 2004 and ran unopposed in the November 2004 and 2008 elections, should have run for a new four-year term in November..."

"... About 20 people who have had traffic violation cases disposed of by Mr. Youngs so far this year will also have their cases transferred to Judge Holbrook ..."
Judge Young is superfluous.
He only presided over 20 traffic violations in 3 months!
PLus, he didn't know enough to run for his position during re election AND in the last 3 months didn't realize he was no longer the judge.
WE DO NOT NEED THIS JUDGE!
WE DO NOT NEED THIS POSITION.
This should be obvious to everyone, his friends, family and himself, the county.
BUT, if there is a special election ($5000) someone will vote him in !

i would not vote for him. I agree the position is not needed. Why waste the money.

I cannot beleive the town would even consider him for the job again.
