Awesome great news best place to play all season sports especially snow sports. I Love NY (I Love Lewis County) Andrew looks great on a sled and a four wheeler would also compliment him when the snow melts. I Love NY campaign ads with snowmobile & skier are fantastic. Kudo's Governor Cumo for money to boost winter tourism.

Seems funny the Lewis County Sheriff's Office snowmobile patrol wasn't involved or even asked to help.Seems like a big slap in their face as they are the primary force for trail patrol.
Rangers were told not tell anyone about Andy's arrival slap in their face I wonder why promote the sledding when there isn't enough money for enforcement.

the whole thing is a farce. you're right about the Sheriff's dept. as for Andy... a big phony and this was a complete waste of 4 million dollars. people come here if we have snow, not because of ads run six months too late. besides snowmobiling doesn't amount to a large crap except to a few bar rooms.

General did you ever think the Sheriffs Dept was busy working this was a publicity thing and Andy is our governor and Governor Cuomo is protected as all high ranking political people by his own security and his happens to be the NY State Police and they were there. So Lewis County Sheriff Patrol and Rangers will do there jobs patrolling when tourist come to ride. This is not a waste of money but a needed boost and will bring people to your county that might want to buy property and stay long term. Boo Hoo all you want but you may be forced to share your little slice of heaven and this could be good and bad depending on how many might come but for now let them come and play and enjoy what you do. Just my two cents.

just another out of area gas bag that knows what's best for us. what's mine is mine and sure as hell isn't yours. Andy blew it... proved himself to be just another grandstanding politician playing with other people's money.

Unfortunately, Andrew's sled didn't fall through the ice as he was crossing a pond.

Maybe Andrew didn't have the proper registration and insurance papers---maybe that's why the sheriff's snowmobile patrol wasn't invited. It might have been embarrassing if they had to write him a few tickets.
