I am not suprised that someone complained about Foulkers at the Blue Ridge in New Tripoli. The people in that town are stuck in their ways and can't deal with change whatsoever. There has been a bar in that corner forever and there used to be a bar across the street as well. Blue Ridge has had it's troubles over the years and now there is finally a successfull "locally owned" bar going strong and people want to complain about some noise.

Get over it people, do you complain when the New Tripoli Fire Siren blares at 2:30 AM too? The old Dutchies will never change. And before anyone jumps on me, please note that I am from New Tripoli. so I do know how the area is and how the people are.

How is it these guys stay in business kiteing checks seems like just last week there were others doing the same? Makes you think twice about being in the bar business. How is it liquor licenses are so expensive if these guys can't even pay their suppliers?

Like you never bounced a check in your life, or maybe you have everyone else pay your bills for you.

I have never bounced a check in my life. I balance my checkbook and I don't spend more than I earn.

WHO CARES - You need to read this a little more closely -- some of these places bounced a check every week which to me indicates a serious problem. In today's day and age with automated line of credit attached to your checking account you shold NEVER be bouncing a check.

Hmmm...deposit a check, you money is on hold for a few days. Write a check and the money is out of your account before the ink is dry! The days of the "float" are long gone. I wouldn't mess with the LCB if I were a restaurant/bar owner.

actually, by law the beer suppliers, banko, geiger, allentown beverage, have to report any bounced checks to LCB since it is illegal to purchase beer on credit. Which means, its also illegal to run a bar tab when you go out drinking with your buddies.
