Emmett Till: 55 years since the murder that inspired the Civil Rights movement

I, for one, would like to see Bryant's Grocery and Meat Market restored with the most original material inside. I am willing to donate to have this done and also planning to visit Money, MS, in the Dec / Jan timeframe. High on my list is to visit the site of the Grocery and J. Milam's old address (which I understand that the house is gone).
Too bad that history is disappearing since I believe once restored, Money will be able to attract money from people who visit. Restaurants, hotels and souvenirs would be a good source of income for the town.

Highway 49 north should be called Rex Kelly highway
not just Emmett Till highway.Rex Kelly was robed then shot and left for dead by 2 black people just a few miles north of the Emmett Till sign.Rex did nothing wrong other than pick them up for a ride. Some people like living in the past because it gets them money and also elected.
