Two Northport churches will host events celebrating Fat Tuesday . From 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Bethany Lutheran will host its traditional Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper.

Dear Lelanau Enterprise. I have been to the 86 district court lately for driving under the influence.I think it is an invasion of privacy for your paper to continusly put out the court proceedings without the consent of the people you write about!I think if the public would like to find out who has been doing what in our county let them go to the court and find out for themselves!I mean you put are names as if we were somekind of criminals that are out rampaging the county!Yes we all make mistakes,and I am sure 90 percent of your employees have done something wrong that they are not proud of.But you do not write about them in your paper!!I will keep writing to the local papers to hopefully get my article in the paper,so you cannot keep nailing us to the cross.P.S.what you are doing is wrong!!!

I sent you a letter a long time ago, I have been for years trying to help my mother find her biological family. She was born 11/20/1958, her mother had other siblings, gave her up for adoption,at Catholic Social Services in Grand Rapids. I asked if you could pelase respond, let me know if the story woudl get published either way. I never heard anything. We still to this day have had no luck finding any family of any sort, I guess you pick and choose whats important to your paper. Maybe if she were a celebrity you would have paid attention and acknowledged. Such a shame.
