I agree Morbius, If one penny went to his mortage, they should seize his home and sell it, but our great county commissoners gave the widow a free ride. She had to know about the money. Typical Lebanon buisness as usual...

The DA,s office couldnt figure out who put the money in the closet roughly 20yrs ago, again a few yrs back, or who killed the lady, what 40yrs ago! But they have figured out how to find Turkey Hill, maybe their friends at LDN will write another article patting them on the back for 90% conviction rating of the drug dealers who are so stupid they basicly get themselfs caught.
I dont agree with big brother mentallity, but the state SHOULD run this city for 10yrs, get rid of the jerks in the maniciple bldg. and then let us re vote new people in after the 10yrs are up!!
We shure wont elect another cheif of police that dosnt know where you may have a handgun again! god bless soccor mom!!

a settlement was made by his family (leave them out of this) Why doesn't the name of the EIT solicitor ever come up in these conversations. His name was on many documents. He told the auditor to do the audit with what they had, when they asked for more info. So...

Nope, there was a quiet settlement. Family members all over don't always know what family members are doing. Ask his girlfriend.

Never heard of this, your gonna have to have proof of that. I am referring to the settlement. If there was any kind of settlement it would have to be public knowledge.

They can't figure out where the $811,000 went but they know it was $811,000. Funny they know exactly how much each school district was overpaid or underpaid.
"We're not in a position to hire a private investigator," Downey said.
Yet an investigation as to the distribution of the tax money was done. Furthermore doesnít the county have detectives? Donít we have a DA?

Just a little change in the subject, did anyone else not get their refund from the EIT last year?

Wait a minute! How do you have a "quiet settlement" over the theft of public funds???

If there was a settlement, the taxpayers have a right to know about it - it was OUR money!!!

Ask EIT about the settlement. Law suit was dropped and settled. The girlfriend worked for him. Hasn't the family suffered enough. Even his poor grand
kids were getting harassed.

Anyone else got more info on this alleged settlement? This should be a matter of public record since it dealt with public funds, and not hushed up.

As for the family, the ugly and regrettable reality is that as long as this "quiet settlement" remains hushed up, the public will continue to raise questions. The best way for them to pursue a resolution would be for them to publicly state that a settlement was reached with the EIT and that any inquiries should be made to the EIT for details.

But until someone steps out of the shadows, the questions are fair game.

I heard Foltz was working under direct orders of the local Lebanon County Socialst Party.

$500,000 of the stolen EIT money was funneled into secret ACORN accounts all over the country to help get Obama elected in 2008.

$211,OOO dollars was sent to the Muslims in Kenya to destroy Obama's Kenyan bith certificate.

Then $100,000 was sent to Hawaii to cover the costs for Obama's new Hawaiian birth certificate.

It's all solved people, you can got to bed tonight and sleep.

IF and that's a big IF the family had any knowledge of wrongdoing why would a settlement be allowed. "In the know" is full of crap. Sounds to me like someone is talking garbage without facts. Something this paper has been doing from day one, reporting information without getting all of the correct information. A settlement and a girlfriend are mentioned. Why don't you tell us all who you are "in the know" if you are truly in the know and give us the facts you are using to make these accusations. It seems only one person (in the know) knows about a settlement and a girlfriend. If you have this information, then do tell.
