I agree partially -- but it's not like there are tons of jobs out there right now. Some people using LIHEAP will be doing so just to get them through a rough period.

ANd the program doesn't have nearly as much money and tighter requirements, so not as many will be helped.

In order to find a job one needs to get out of the house in something other than pajamas and look for a job. The job is not going to come find them.
Everyone has an excuse why they need assistance but the biggest reason is that the lazy people want something for nothing.

grandma didn't get heat welfare assistance either. many a time she said she sat in a cold house with a moth eaten blanket to keep warm. she lived to 99 years old so she must've been doing something right.

people need a heart . heartless comments . The price of oil is exspensive to begin with not everyone are bums there are hard working people that can not afford heating oil . The heartless comments about the county wasting money pisses me off it is meant for a good reason. I seen people wel to do go and ask for help there is no shame in asking for help the lame excuses that i seen on here how they think they are better then someone else is just a front for the stupidity i seen in these comments.

Instead of knocking on someone that needs help support them instead of being hippicrits lend a nice voice of support help your fellow man instead of picking on them. Who gives a rats arse what you think but posting it on the net making others think they are worthless that is not cool.

Hippicrits and morons that posted on here will one day need help. Think about that think before you speak word of the wise to the jack arses that said nasty things about someone else.
