I'll always remember how reticent he and Lightbulb Larry were when the suggestion was made to hold occasional meetings @ night for the convenience of those who work.

Fewer people in the audience meant fewer people were there to witness his act.

Hopefully his replacement will at least have an open mind!

I guess if you think passing county budgets that included private banks loans spread out over years to come up with a ponzi scheme balanced budget is good government.
Is it any wonder why Cornwall Borough is flat broke with citizens like Stanely.
Is this you Jo Ellen, hiding under your rock where you do most of your business? Come out in the sunshine and use your name you loser.

You did nothing for Lebanon county but help all your little friends out. It is true, some short people have the napolian complex. If you didnt waste so much money on airport studies and reasons why Lebanon is the s-hole it is, you could balance the budget. BY BY dont let the door hit your big ego on the way out

good he did nothing for the city employees, or even the GSH employees . most of them did not respect or like him at all. he may have worked for the GSH but when he needed back surgery it went to Lancaster not the GSH. where were his loyalties

well, as much as i hate to say it, i would agree with carpenter for that decision. GSH is a horrible hospital, more focused on stuffing their pockets with other peoples hard earned money instead of focusing on patient care. Instead the few people that they have remaining on their staff that they didnt cut for "budget reasons" are forced to work under crappy conditions and crappy hours. what kind of health care is that. I would go to hershey or lancaster before gsh any day.

Step one is for an across the board pay cut for all elected officials in the county courthouse by a minimum of 10%.

Step two is to reject any and all unfunded mandates made by the state; force the state to collect blood from a stone.

Step three is to renegotiate all county employees contracts to require a minimum contribution to their health care insurance.

Step four is to begin reviewing all properties owned by the county that could be sold or transferred to another entity (preferably, sold since that would generate needed cash).

Step five is to complete an independent audit of all county departments to (a) determine their respective efficiencies and (b) identify waste and fraud (how much money was embezzled back in the 1980's?; how much was embezzled in the EIT?).

Those are just a few off of the top of my head.
