To much if u ask me and i heard the guys that wrecked well let me rephrase that one guy not a sherman was booted out after the wreck i heard the talk when i went and paid my water bill the ladies was talking about it then they haven't let him come back took his things from him and all i thought when you volunteer its from your heart not shermans pockets?but its who you know and blow in this village....
As for the "ladies" gossiping at the townhouse, I'm sure it happens every where.
That fireman would be an insurance risk and a liability. Not an asset. You going to rely on an injured fireman, that can't carry his own weight to rescue you?
I'd say they want someone that can DO the job needed of them, not become a casualty or patient too.
No volunteer firemen in this county get paid to do what they do. You go to your local station in your township, sign up and see if got what it takes. I doubt it.

sounds like thats all you do and if the accident was the driver of the trucks fault how is it covered?we are paying for it through our water bills ask the ladies at the village they act like they know it all
Hey, butt munch! It wasn't the "driver of the trucks fault"! The grandson of the 73 year old man the firetruck avoided said that his grandpa shouldn't have even been on the road.

Let's make this simple. If you think the Coal Grove Fire Department is so "bad" or "worthless", post your name and address on this forum. Then they will know exactly where NOT to respond to. Problem solved.

You "verbally assult" these men and women who risk their lives to save yours. All done for no pay but loads of attitude from ignorant people like you all. You look down your noses at them, call them names and insult their families.

Does it make you feel like a "big man" (or woman) to talk about people who actually make a difference and do something? I supposed you're perfect, right? Never made a mistake?

I pray you never have to have their help. But you know what? They will show up and help you just the same.

<quoted text>You seem like your having trouble with with the fact that you can't drive it sounds to me like you are the driver so i would watch what i was putting out there if i was you travis...I am sure you have never talked bad about no one in your life, and you need a little bit of schooling on spelling too.I think it is wonderful we have a volunteer fire dept.that is willing to risk their lives for us ,i just wish all the drama was out of it.
My best response is the driver got excited over the nature of the call, drove to fast, resulting in a crash. Hope the insurance is all figured out by now!

<quoted text>That person is right about this i would say it is travis also sounds like the person writing this would have been the driver you should have just put your name what are you afraid of? This whole village does people wrong anyway they can they put the shaft to that ol boy i know the women that works up there she told us all about what was going on.... gossip straight from the horses mouth...I think you should not be telling people to go f$ck theirselves that made you look really bad bro.
Do you mean affairs? Just wondering bc of what I've been told by ex-members.

<quoted text>no this is not travis, but someone that knows him pretty well, so dont say that he said stuff like that. its awful to see people talk about people and stuff they dont know much about. and you should be glad you have a volunteer fire department some citys/villages are having to get rid of theirs bc of low funds. i dont understand why people are making such a big deal about something that happened months ago and know little about. No one was hurt and it was an accident on both parts. i wish people could learn how to quit being so nosey. how would you feel if something like what happened to him happened to you and you had to hear about it all the time and then have people talking crap about you. he and any other volunteer fire fighter deserves a lot more respect than that. but i guess you never really appreciate them unless you know them or if you need them.
Wasn't there a person from the accident transported to a local hospital?
I'm pretty sure there was. Quite sure. Unless I'm having a brain fart. So doesn't that mean someone was injured?
