Why do we still have all that mess in the streets of Hustonville. They need to just tear that old building down and move on.I mean for real. How much time you have to give a man?

He's got his hands full cleaning up after the last two idiots that abused their power as mayor. Marc spivey seems to be an honest and fair man, give him a chance and we should see plenty of good days to come!

Is it a big deal for you to drive 100 feet out of your way? Or maybe you could give a helping hand instead of running your mouth.

No, it isnt a big deal for me to drive 100 feet out of my way. However it is a mess. That haunted house has always been a mess and now that the thing is falling down they need to make him fix it or tear it down or the city have it torn down and let the owner pay for it.If he cant burn it down maybe he can tear it down. It has been long enough for him to get it fixed or tear it down!!

What I read in the newspaper the fate of the building is in Frankfort’s hands maybe people should call there to find out what is happening

Mr Spivey our new mayor is a nice, considerate, calm man, but when faced with trouble he will rise up and get something done. The man knows his stuff. He has both young and old on city counsel now, and change is in the air. Get behind this team, attend the meetings, ill tell you they will and do listen, and if there is issue with drainage, clogged drains, bad road or dangourous road/side walk condtions, they will make a plan to address it. This is best team of city councel we seen in 20 years. Lets not let them down, get involved so you can say you helped change things!

Thats on top of prioity list aswell as any sidewalks in dis repair. A project on list for next couple of years is to remove power lines from street and relocate them behind the buildings, and or underground. Along with this, new street lighting would be placed, preferably from US127, at bridge, east through town to a undetermined point. On old US127 it would be great to see new street lighting all way north to city limits, possibly to US127 near Gotta-Stop. Long term goals are, 5-15 years to bring sewer lines into town. The addition of turn lanes on US127 is on states proposed projects but hasnt, yet, been ruled a STPP (state top priority project), our fear is their waiting, for the next fatality from rear end collision, so the Frankfort officials do things politicaly correct, then those kinda projects are OK'd.
