Well I wouldn't be able to let it go but I sure wouldnt take over every thread about every other child it happens to.I would realize it was happening to others and let that be discussed also.No one has said she needs to let it go.People have said she needs to stop spamming the board on threads about another child. She can post 100 threads as far as I am concerned because I done have to read them all.But like this one I am interested in the baby and I dont want to hear about Linda L.We all know about it.Its a done deal.No one here can change it or bring the child back. But we would like to be able to read about this baby for instance without her spamming every post.
Sometimes a person needs medical/mental help to deal with a loss and this lady certainly falls in that category because she doesn't care about any child or other case, she just dwells on her hurt.

I heard on the news that they said it was sleeping and didn't want to wake it up poor child I hope it's ok
I suppose its possible they didnt realize but thats a scary thought and could have been a deadly thought.I try to remember back through the years at all the crazy things I did that could have turned into a disaster because of a stupid mistake.Truly scary if you look back at life and instances of crazy stuff you have done.I am blessed to even be alive after some of the stunts I pulled.
I have mixed emotions on all the cases because we have no way of knowing what was going on in the persons mind at the time something happens.I am so happy the baby was noticed in time.I dont know, times are just strange in general anymore.

Lady you have no idea what you are talking about. I dont know ANYONE involved in the Linda Long case. If the state would have made an example out of Linda Long. Maybe people would think twice about leaving their child in a hot car. What kind of person get's mad because someone brings up a case where a child was KILLED? And you think I need help? HA

I always put my purse on the floor, in the back seat. I never exited the car without my purse. My kids and grandkids, would fall asleep riding in the car. That way, I would always have to look in the back seat. Once my grandson who was two at the time, hid in the back seat of my car. I was visiting them at the time. Because I got myself in the habit of putting my purse in the back seat floor, I found him there.

I didn't realize you were preventing or controling what others could say, if only you were so powerful. I find it funny that they want you silenced, your comments are hardly stopping their desire to read about or comment on this other poor child. And I know that baby's future won't be promising either with parents who could walk away from it, leaving it to the mercy of whatever harm could come it's way.

A done deal. Wow! I think there's room for both cases to be discussed. That way these poor children will never be forgotten. And it could serve as a reminder for others. This poster doesn't appear to grieving but angry. And I don't think anyone should forget what happened to him, or any of the others. It's just that his case is hard to understand.

Damn I wish I was that powerful. I believe that is Linda Long or one of her family member's doing that & to be honest I dont care. This is never going to go away. In my opinion Linda Long should be reminded everyday of what she has done.. I believe this will continue to happen because the ''State'' has made it clear that they dont care. This poor little boy sit in that car for 9 long hours & I think his grandmother should have to do the same.

BTW It's a sad world we live in when you have to put your purse in the back seat of your car to remember your child or grandchild is there.

I agree. This is the only thread I have commented on (beside's the Linda Long threads) that is about another child. & there was another one the above poster compared to the Linda Long case , were 2 little boy's locked themself in the trunk of their parents car. In my opinion the 2 cases do not compare.

what is the different between the two cases.
number 1 case child was left in car for 15 minutes and parents are being charge.
number 2 child was left in the car for 8 or nine hours and died and wasn't charge, i see no different,# 2 shold have been charge and had a trail for something but she was set free . i guess if you have money or know a rich doctor like pitel you can do anything bang bang everything swept under the rug. case nuber 1. they will spend time in jail where as case number 2 didn't spend any time in jail.
money talks where is our justice system.,

Putting my purse in the backseat, has worked everytime. I would rather do that, and remember the child, and be critized for it, than forget. We need to do what works best for all, you for example, may not need to, but others, may. A good parent/grandparent, should have the childs best interest at heart, not worry about what other people think of their method, for keeping that child safe. "Justice" I am not being mean to you, but remembering is whats important here. For the fathers/grandfathers, put the diaper bag in the front seat with you.

Im not critizing you. I do agree that people should so whatever work's for them. Myself I have never had to do anything to help me remember my child is in the back seat.

I did not mean to come across as being rude. Kudos to you for remembering everytime. Putting that little rememberence in place, I guess its called being extra careful for me. Its like at my house, I put protectors on the wall sockets, had child locks on my cabinets, and on the toilet seat, I took the knobs off of my stove at night. Even my door knobs had child protectors on them. When my kids were little, I didn't have these things, I could chase the kids all day. I could be out of my chair in a flash. When my grandchildren came along, I don't move quite as fast. If I sound like I am being insulting to ANYBODY, I don't mean to be.
