Open or not?

Full story: Estes Park Trail-Gazette

Offering to assist with law enforcement and emergency services is one thing, keeping Rocky Mountain National Park open should there be a partial federal shutdown caused by the budget impasse in Washington is another thing altogether.

It is hard to understand the Sheriff's reasoning, or why he chooses to blame the Park Service for what it has no control of. It is also naive to think his department can provide the services necessary to assure the Park is managed adequately.

and a dolt - really just a publicity hound, kind of like when President Reagan was shot and Alexander Haig said he was in charge. I wonder if the Sheriff could do his own job, stop morons from perpetrating hoaxes about their kids latching onto giant helium balloons and drifting onto farm land. How much did that cost Fort Collins to chase their tails instead of doing basic police investigating, like, hmm, could I look around in your house and attic and above your garage since kids like to play hide and seek?

Doh!

is now trying to keep the old Loveland multiplex open on Highway 34. He says he has juridiction over comedies and cartoons.
