Get the story right:
Police have not released any details about why Northen shot McKean, but have said McKean had a gun, was intoxicated and possibly suicidal during the incident.
McKean remains on paid administrative leave per department policy, which requires any officer involved in a shooting to go on leave until being cleared of wrong doing.
You news reporters need to get the dang facts before posting the story.
You have the criminal being on paid administrative leave.
