Sounds like this little girl is better off with God then her parents. No parebts ages are mentioned maybe she was born dead and the mom freaked out. I have heard stories of people being pregnant and not knowing it. I don't know how you could have a 5-10 pound thing inside of you moving all of the time and not know it, but I guess some people do. If that mother did kill her baby she will have to live with that guilt for the rest of her life. She & God knows exactly what happened - she can tell the rest of the world what she wants to but the dude upstairs knows the truth. May the baby girl rest in piece.

This is the strangest case I have ever read.

They say they are not the parents but are proven to be. I have yet to find if the baby was stillborn or murdered so a charge of hiding a death was available. They let her walk away with nothing, yet we see teen and pre-teen mothers getting time for hiding a still-birth.

I wonder who these folks are related to.

Umbilical cord around neck - dead in womb - naturally aborted late term fetus - equals no birth - no report - no murder - emotional denial.
Detective investigator died before trial - mostly only circumstantial evidence. Too big a shadow of doubt for the jury.

Send the case to Maury Povitch...he can always find the baby's daddy.

Wow, I can see where there MIGHT be reasonable doubt. If the baby died in the womb then it would not be murder. I guess they would have to prove the little baby ever took a breath and lived at birth. I would just like to know more. I cannot imagine how they tossed a baby out like trash...sick people.

Wow. This is strange. Perhaps the woman isn't guilty of murder, but she's definitely guilty of something. Isn't there something about telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?

That and disposing of a body, hiding a death and I'm sure some other charges that could have been added.
