Parker Propane is NO GOOD! We ran out of propane Saturday, we are paid in full and still no propane. Last time they came out and filled our tank without notifing us, we are not on any plan. Bill came for $850.00 -two weeks later ran out of Propane. Now they want $1000.00 in advance to fill our tank.

I wish my job gave raises as much as propane companies give themselves a price raise. Dang. It is tough to find propane price information online. Are propane prices regulated? I watch the prices on the Fed's Energy Information Prices website. But it it tough to compare apples and apples because the prices are all averages. My wife found an interesting new web site localpropaneservice.com .

There is no shortage of propane in this country. We are being gouged by these companies. We signed up with Northwest propane last year(2007) for 1.59 with prepay. I just called them a week ago June 2008 and their price is 2.69!!!! I am looking for alternative sources other than wood or corn burning furnaces. Anyone have geothermal?

I have been a customer of Parker's Propane for over 10 years, and have paid my bills responsibility. Well, I called in May to not have the tank filled, since my wife was layed off. Well they filled it up. There was no appology, or recognition that they made a mistake, infact the inference was that I didn't understand the 'policy', what ever that was??

I had them remove the tank, and before the fill, I still had about 20 %. Now, I called for a refund, and they refused, saying that it was not their policy to refund remaining propane. So, watch out if you choose this company.

My company, Jeff Brewer Mechanical is a full line, licensed and insured, heating and cooling company. We do a lot of geothermal systems in south eastern Michigan. It really is the way to go to save a ton of money of your heating, cooling and domestic hot water.

A geothermal system can fit on almost any size lot and your existing ductwork can be used.

Please visit our web site: www.jeffbrewermechanicalllc.com for more information about us and to see pictures of some of our work.

Does anyone out there know a fair propane company? I was forced to turn my heat down to 63 in January and have left it there to keep from using all my savings. Ferrellgas is the worst company to deal with. They are offering new customers a lock-in price for 2009-10 season of $1.59.9 I've had the same tank in my yard for 33 years. I didn't receive a special price when I started or when the company changed over to Ferrellgas. Did any of you? What ever happened to rewarding loyality? Ferrellgas is offering that low price to new customers to replace all the old customers they are losing and will continue to lose. I need a new propane company. Any help on finding a decent, fair company would be appreciated. It's time we all reward fair companies and dump the greedy ones.

If you would have read your receipt that is given to you with each delivery, it states "NON REFUNDABLE SALE", therefore you called us to pick it up knowing it had 20% left in it. A smart person would have used up that gas...
