"Defense ((((((attorneys)))))) suggested that Baez's lupus, an autoimmune disorder, and pain medication may be influencing his decisions".

Take note, attorneys (PLURAL); who is paying for them? About time we taxpayers get a break and simply inject this SOB with the killing juice; hoping that it does not immediately kill him and he dies a most slow, painful death. While HIS children stand on the curb at the prison, oh, in their pajamas. In the meantime, discontinue his pain pills. He sees the writing on the wall and now wants to be the tough guy. Get it on!

He's still not admitting the crime and I'm not at all familiar with this case but if they got DNA of the perp from that scene they should use it to confirm his guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt and kill this murdering rapist asap.

Agreeing with doesn't matter (above). "Sissy" Didn't asked to be raped and murdered, don't give the rapist and murderer what he wants. Keep him alive and suffering in jail!

Why? So we the taxpayers can keep wasting our money on food and medicine for this murdering scum for many more years to come? To hell with that, flip the switch and put him where he belongs - 6 feet under.

We're wasting our money on other scumbags giving them food and medicine, it doesn't matter if this guy is still alive you'll still be taxed for others. He's asking to die so he doesn't have to live with what the did. To hell with that! Why should we put him out of pain and misery when he's caused so much to others? Make him pay.

"Make HIM pay?" Sorry, but he just sits in jail burning more of our taxpayer money. As far as the other pedophiles, murderes, and rapists are concerned, they should be following right after him in the Gas Chamber, Electric Chair, or firing squad. If we kept those means of execution going 24/7 we wouldn't have to worry about paying for all of these f*cking criminals!!! It might also, just might, keep people from wanting to commit crimes, as they wouldn't want to end up on the recieving end of the lethal injection or fried in the electric chair!!

Yes, make him pay. He is still living and breathing against his will! I agree he's a waste, among the many other criminals we have, but just killing them is an easy way out for them. IT'S WHAT THEY WANT. They'll just get more creative with their crimes so they don't get caught, not stop crime all together! Besides, the government will find another way to tax us, so it's not just a money thing. How can you resolve crime with more crime. What officials are doing by giving someone the death penalty is killing another person, a bit hypocritical don't you think?

Ah....and therein lies the problem with your question. You see, executing people as punishment does equate to what the murderers have done themselves. They brutally killed someone without just cause, took a life for no good reason except that they are evil and have no real morals. We, as law-abiding citizens are not "killing" them unjustly, the punishment IS just and warranted, and the punishment fits the crime!!

As for them "getting what they want" death, that is not always the case. Some of them just love to toy with all of us through their endless appeal processes and love to waste even more of our money with their lawyer fees. Some of these evil psychopaths get off on that whole cat & mouse scenario, as it torments the families of the victims even more. And prison?? Their they get to eat, sleep, watch cable, have stuff in their cells, work out in the yard, have homosexual sex, torment the gaurds and others lower in stature than themselves, etc, etc, etc. It's like putting a cock-a-roach into a landfill.....they are at home!!

Just execution as punishment for the worst of crimes is not be equated with lawlessness and senseless murder that these criminals themselves have committed. That is the flaw in the logic of those who keep on shouting from the rooftops that executions are nothing more than state-sanctioned murder.

And who are you to say that murders don't have a good reason to kil? I am not saying if you have a problem kill someone, nor am i justifying murder, but not everybody shares the same morals as you do. Murder is the obvious, extreme and unnecessary way to solve a problem, but people that have little or no morals will not see this as a problem. We as a community should reach out and try to help these kind of people, not just get rid of the problem.
As for getting what they want, yes there are a few that love the game. The government should then stop letting them appeal time and time again. As for prison, i'm sure it still sucks even with all the "benefits" they have, but it's still jail, they have no rights. And so you say kill all these people, so then this creates less and less jobs for the prison gaurds and others that work in these facilities becuase they are shutting down. It's a win- lose.I'm sure some of the criminals feel guilt for what they did, they don't all get off with the game and they all don't want to die, but they're doing their time and are not getting away with anything. Not all punishment fits the crime, so why is this the exception?

I'm am not someone that shouts from the rooftops that executions are nothing more than state-sanctioned murder. I am merely a person with an opinion that chose to express how I felt. I do not owe you or anyone an explanation of why I feel this way.

Very good point!!! If we execute all those on death row, that would be that many less tax dollars spent on these bums, therefore, less tax money needed!! What good is death row if we don't make it DEATH ROW?

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Capricorn

You're in a very generous and kind frame of mind today, and you'll go out of your way to help others if you think they need it. You might donate some money to a good cause or decide that charity begins at home. If you're buying gifts for some of your loved ones it will be difficult to know when to stop, because you could easily get carried away.
