Many people kill themselves. Some aren't in prison on charges of sexually assaulting a minor. Prison isn't always a friendly place and is exponentially less friendly that are in there for sexual assault/molestation of a child or minor. They tend to become targets inside.

I am sure the prison does the work before coming to a conclusion. I do not know the situation but someone that could be facing years in prison can be in a very dark place. While it is hard to admit that a friend or loved one would kill himself it does indeed happen.

And what do you mean by "more to this story"? Is that insinuating that there was a cover up? The prison would gain nothing from a cover up. If another inmate killed someone they just come out and say it, they add more time to the sentence. The only other thing would be a guard? I doubt that, the guy is in jail already so what reason would a guard risk throwing his life away, just to kill an inmate. Not sure what you are getting at, and you left it pretty open ended. Maybe elaboration would help.
