The Mad Man

Here is another article I can relate to. I am disabled but I am lucky, I have a caregiver. I have know my caregiver for 14 years and he has made me survive through the toughest odds. 4 Surgeries on my back to put metal in and then to have it removed. I still suffer with pain and drug medication but I am not alone and that is what makes me survive. I have someone who has taken the time to care and do what ever it takes to get me through a day of pain. And then the nights when I wake up and the pain is so severe. He is there with me to apply medication, a sleeping pill or something to get me through the night until the morning. I am thankful for this man and lucky to have him for my sanity. I would be DEAD if it were not for him getting me through the rough times. Suicide was a thought at one time, with all the pain and money problems.
I recommend to find a way to get a caregiver, someone you trust, or ask a social worker or find a way to live a life with someone who cares enough to get you through the rough times. Don't live alone with pain or fear. Age determines the time we all have left but when you know someone cares enough to get you through the rough times, age is a state of mind. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter!
