You know, parents CAN manage to pay for their own children to attend private schools. Don't say it is impossible, I've witnessed far too many foreign transplants from Asian countries who come to the U.S. with little money yet, have children with stellar math and science skill. Oh,could it be that the parents make education a priority? I wonder if that may be the case here? Hmmm...

In this day and age, computer skills are required. If you don't have computer access? You're at a grave disadvantage.

Knox schools? There are some good teachers. Of course, it's like anything else. You get what you pay for. Directly pay for it yourself? You'll care so much more deeply about education. Honestly, public school is really a giant day care operation. If parents were paying tuition/books out-of-pocket? There would be far more parental involvement.
