She made good wages and a smart deal: $400,000.00 minus l80,000.00= 220,000.00 minus 5,000.00 fine=215,000.00, net before taxes(which she paid:-)....and she gets an 18 month vacation to work on her Masters Degree. She should be a Senator she could reduce this debt problem and balance the budget easily......

Everything stinks on this one...not just the decayed body.

Only 18 months for almost a half Mil?

Only 12 years for a death,deception & abuse of a corpse?

Guess country living has some benefits.

I found a lost credit card on the sidewalk outside a restaurant and used it to purchase three cartons of cigarettes. I ended up doing 13 months in the county jail for $160. I see now how stupid I was for cutting it in half after I did that (my conscience got to me). This woman steals nearly HALF A MILLION DOLLARS and got just five more
months!!!

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME !!!!!!!!

No, what stinks worse is that 8 of those years are for his involvement in the stolen money, while she is looking at 18 months max for carrying out the crime!

She embezzled from a company(lot more money coming in). You took someones hard earned money, who may just be getting by, and you could have screwed up their credit...you should still be in jail in my opinion!

Yeah, lets see....$60+ per day to incarcerate me, I now have a felony record and difficulty finding a job (cannot pay taxes), and I am having serious thoughts of "learning from my mistake" by being a "smarter criminal". Oh, and do you think that the company involved simply absorbed the loss? My guess is that it was covered by some insurance,or was written off on taxes.

Yeah, they showed my dumb--- how they do criminals.

Hats off to the Knox County Sheriff's Office! Unfortunately KCSO has been so busy with crimes that are making national/statewide headline news lately. You people are doing a fantastic job, and I for one as a resident would like to say thank you!
Its such a shame that COPS in Ohio have been labled "idiots" by our "governor". You people are not idiots! As a FORMER republican voter, I and my family will not support SB5 in anyway shape or form so we can do our part to help you (Law Enforcement Officers)! Keep up the good work and stay safe!!!!!!

Gotta wonder how much taxes you are providing to the cause when you feel it's necessary for someone else to buy your smokes? But, apparently you are not alone, cause a couple of folks agree that you are so brilliant!
