Curt came back over to the apartments (where law enforcement put a DO NOT ENTER sign on the front door of that apt) and said "nobody better touch my mom's pills or money!!" LOL

Why Curt? You wanted it all for yourself, right?

I, for one, am absolutely thrilled that they are gone.

Now maybe they can move somebody into them apartments that deserves a chance. They are low income apartments, meant for people who are TRYING to get on their feet - not for people to cook dope, stay high, and pay less than $30 a month.

Well this is not Berneice nor Wesley's first rodeo, and they were both aware of the risk to their son.Berneice's father is a cook, and he and his wife are addicted and into the needle as is Berneice. Wesley's mom Linda puts up with all of the drugs and Bulls**t out of both her sons and then runs in a scoops up the kids acting like she is pure as the driven sno. If she has custody she will never folow the rules as far as keeping the baby away from his parents. Both sides of the family are just as much to blame as the parents who were cooking around the baby. They allow the stuff into their life and fail to do what they should for their grandchildren nor what is right for the ones in the family who are addicted. All of Berneice's sisters and that includes step sisters are strung out and on the needle and on welfare they should all have their kids taken away and never returned. Junkies breed Junkies

Ok whatever, I agree with you up until the point you said junkies breed junkies. That isn't the truth. Matthew will grow up to be a very fine boy. My mom is a junkie, but i'm not and i am sober as the day is long with kids of my own doing very well for myself. Because I work all day, and take care of my babies what time i'm not working. You are who you choose to be, not what your parents are in front of you. You live how you want to live, not how you are "bread" to. We are humans not dogs. the difference incase you didn't know is that we have free will. your not a junkie unless you want to be one.

kkl,
I will concede to your post as being correct. I too came from a horrible home life and I grew up to be a responsible adult and have raised my children to be the same. It is possible to go forward in life and leave your past behind, but only if you are dedicated in leaving it behind you and putting your all into building a new life for yourself.
This particular family chooses to be where they are and will refuse any offer of help unless you are giving them something they can trade for drugs or sell for cash to get drugs.
I have seen this family in action and can attest to the fact that they have no problem doing selling or cooking dope in front of the little ones. These kids ( I mean Bernice and her siblings & thier children) have learned all they know about drugs from the elders in their family, and the biggest part of them have followed the rest of the family into addiction. Thus my statement of Junkies Breed Junkies. To stop the cycle of abuse in this paticular family you would need to remove the children from this atmosphere and give them a chance at living in a normal world with normal people and normal problems.
As it stands they now are surrounded with addicts , who are either dangerously high or dangerously seeking the drugs, there is no break in this cycle year after year.If and when someone goes to jail they are straight until the minute they are released and then the cycle for that person begins again.

kkl, this is what these babies are up against, what do you think their odds are of getting out of this situation unharmed??

I understand what you are saying because I too have seen this with my own eyes, and I have offered them help. I have to say that you are right about what they do when someone tries to help them, and then when they find someone who will, they use the money they give them for food or the electic bill, for dope. But I think Matthew will have a great chance of being a wonderful person, he's itty bitty, a baby, he has his whole life ahead of him and I wont say that he will turn out that way. And for what these people do in front of their kids with that dope stuff, they all need to be put in better homes. I couldn't imagine risking my babies life like that, let alone see me in that manner.

Read in Memphis,
What really is needed in this area are more Law Enforcement Officers and more Child Protection Officers, and Welfare Fraud Officers. It is great to offer these folks help and a way out, but just what is the plan when they refuse the offer of help? Unless it is a way to feed their habit? What plan is in force to protect the innocent children involved in this mess and or the innocence of the general public?

Damn this is one crazy life we live. We work all day so our taxes can support these kind of people and their way of life. They live in Goverment Subsized Housing draw Foodstamps and have free access to Medical Care and Prescriptions.
Meanwhile many of us do without alot of things in our life so we can afford to pay ungodly high premiums for health insurance and still get stuck with outlandish cost for meds and bills the insurance didn't pay. We fed our kids beans and tuna when they were growing up while begging God to help us get through one more day keeping our family fed clothed and in a home. During this same time we not only furnished our families needs our taxes were helping to keep the low life's family going so they could live a life of ease, have one child after another and assume no responsibility other than to show up at the welfare office every six months for a review to see if they qualify for more welfare .
I don't mind doing my part for the senior citizen who can't make ends meet, I also don't mind helping a working family through a rough spot, what I mind is Bernice & Wesley & people like them who abuse the system and in reality all of us who work hard to make ends meet.

Yes Read in Memphis, drug court is a great thing while they are enrolled and attending, but as soon as they complete the course 99% go right back to using, and we all go right back to supporting their way of life and addictions. I say once they are busted kick them off the welfare and take the children from them. After all if we are supporting their children shouldn't we be obligated to find them a safer way of life and a better role model than the junkies who bred them?

Annette isn't gettin sent anywhere because Bernice told the truth, they where cookin dope in #5 saw the law got scared and ran in my apartment to hide. Mom got up seen what the had told them to get out and they walked right into the cops... And yeah I respect the law and have no problem getting a mistaminer for my bong.. I lost everything I owned because of those idiots and hope they stay in there a while. Dont be talkin sh*t about my life you know nothing about it. For your info. Bernice is a family member of mine and some of charlie and glenn's grandchildren are some of the sweetest children God ever graced this earth with, so fuc* all of you who have something bad to say. And until you been there don't say a G*d Dam* thing about them. It very well could be one of your children on here a few years from now, busted for a meth lab and/or addicted to oxys.

FYI,
I guess since you are a family member you would or should know the family well enough to know that the little incident with Bernice is not the first incident for her or for the other family members.
Nobody disputes the fact that the grandchildren are sweet and innocent at this point as they are all still pretty young. That will all change as they mature, all of the combined children of Charlie & Glen's were once this young and innocent too and just look at them now.
I will stand by my convictions on this as I am in the know and have been for a really long time. All the children should be removed from this family to prevent another generation of addicts.
Hell Charlie and Glen are the main culprits in this mess had they tried to be real parents to their children and not addicts things could have been alot different for the children and grandchildren. What parent teaches their child how to cook meth, and or shows them how to cook up a pill and fire it into a vein. These are the facts FYI and if you are part of the family and are in the know as you say then you know everything I am saying is the truth.
You wouldn't by any chance have been from the group in Ohio who had a working lab on Nanny's farm are you?
