"Whatever the truth"? What kind of journalist are you?
This is only a story because of shoddy journalists more interested in the sensational than in the truth.

You're right - whatever will get an audience. The media isn't biased one way or the other politically. They just go where there's a controversy.

Al Franken used to say that asking whether the media is too liberal is like asking if Hamas puts too much salt in their hummus. It's beside the point.

Whatever issue seems the most controversial is where the media will go. The right made a lot of noise about ACORN, so even though there wasn't a story there, the media saturated the issue. A cute girl dressing as a prostitute just helped make it irresistible.

You meant to ay Fox News & Conservative Talk Radio along with Republican showboaters in Congress.

I think of those "journalists" should be arrested for child pornography. We have evidence on tape!

Maybe I should try to rob the local Sheetz. If they catch me on tape, I'll just ell them I was doing journalism.

Nice hit job, Jim, but unfortunately, full of misinformation. ACORN is one of a network of hundreds of criminal organizations run out of an old funeral home in New Orleans (all 600+ of these organizations have the same address). They are closely aligned to the SEIU, whose president, Andy Stern, preaches 'collapsing the system' by endless demands for social welfare programs. Not coincidently, Stern is the most frequent visitor to the White House, and was recently appointed by Obama to a commission on the deficit. Obama, of course, came from the ranks of ACORN, and learned his Marxist philiosphy there.

Another idiot duped by the ACORN fear mongering.

Obama never worked for Acorn - another lie. Why can't you people tell the truth?

Stern - the newest scapegoat by the feeble minded right. What did Beck tell you this? Or was in Limbaugh.

How does it feel to be the poster boy for the feeble minded rabid right.

Since last year Acorn is no longer under the radar!

That's why they are in the process of reorganizing and changing their name to continue business as usual , someth9ing they couldn't do with the name of ACORN!

I believe they were also involved in the Lincoln assasination as well. Wasn't Lincoln a frequent visitor to the White House at one time?

It has now been established that the Acorn video was doctored in order to give a false impression , so the next logical step is to INDICT both Giles and O'Keefe for CONSPIRACY ! Then perhaps they could offer HER immunity if she agreed to testify against HIM ! If this BOZO doesn't go to jail , it will be a HUGE MISTAKE !

I was surprised to learn ACORN was such a long lived group. To hear the connies talk about it - you'd think ACORN was new and started by Obama himself.

Sounds like they might need to run a bit tighter ship, but Im not having too much a of a problem with the idea.

Of course not. No reasonable person has a problem with ACORN. This whole controversy is purely a fabrication of the reactionary right. There is simply nothing to any of it.

More Acorns indicted for Election Fraud!

Five Wisconsin residents, including two who worked for community organizing group ACORN, were charged Monday with election fraud relating to the 2008 presidential election.

State Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced felony charges against Maria Miles, Kevin Clancy, Michael Henderson, Herbert Gunka and Suzanne Gunka.

Miles and Clancy worked for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now and are accused of submitting multiple voter registration applications for the same individuals, including each other, to meet voter registration quotas imposed by the community organizing group

Employees who defrauded ACORN.

This is how it works. ACORN pays its employees to get people registered to vote. They paid them something like $5 for each completed form.

Some of these employees just make up names or pull names from the phone book. They turn these in & get paid.

Then either ACORN or the local voter registration checks these & find that they are fraudulent. ACORN is cheated out of $5. The Employees are guilty of voter reistration fraud. ACORN, as an orgasnization, is defrauded.

In this scheme, no one tries to actually vote illegally. It is a scam to make money.

If ACORN finds some of these application to be fraudulent, they must, by law turn them in. They can mark then as fraudulent by a collector of voter registration forms must, by law, turn them all in.

They take those registration forms straight to the polling offices with out ACORN officials verifing those names!

Like this is the first time it has happemed and they continue to make up fradulant names and submit them!~

Who would've guessed they are / were Felons!

Not a wonder that Acorn has to change it's name!

Good God john. Scooter Libby worked for Dick Cheney. Does that mean Cheney is a criminal simply because his employee was convicted of a criminal act?... opps! Nevermind.

Here's a clue for a dummy -- an 'AG' is a political office which means for the clueless you have to campaign!

What don't you understand about that!
