High school student files legal challenge against Sanford over stimulus

COLUMBIA -- The issue of whether Gov. Mark Sanford can refuse to apply for $700 million in federal stimulus aid unless lawmakers agree to spend the same amount on state debt was brought this morning before the South Carolina Supreme Court.

Anyone with a real working brain knows that Sanford is right. Paying off debts is the best thing you can for long term financial stability. Period. Economics 101.

Borrowing money to pay off debts keeps you broke and in lousy financial shape. Economics 101.

Proof? Just look at those who use the payday and title loans? They are in an endless cycle of being broke and will never get ahead and will end up losing everything to those establishments.
