This seems to be a double edged sword to me. I agree someone shouldn't spend life in prison for a petty crime but, this give a lot of repeat offenders the chance to continue to do things like steal from us without having the fear of life in prison hanging over them.

They are. Welcome o come out a try to steal from me. There s of course a real possibility that they will receive an immediate death penalty though.

Haha very true. But sometimes the victim defending his property is treated like the criminal
